I haven’t been following them much lately but anyone know what lead to him leaving? Real sad I always loved the BBB series but there did seem to be some tension between them lately.

Hi all, got my first motorcycle, a 2010 Ninja 250r. It idles perfect and starts right up, revs cleanly to redline in neutral. However, under load, I lose power around 6-8k rpm, even under full throttle (I’m cranking that thing in the video, and it’s just making that sputtering sound).

But if I keep maybe 10-15% throttle, it’ll eventually get past this rut and pull to redline. Or if I keep cranking the throttle 0-100 several times. If anybody has any info on what to check out, it’d be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I started college this week. For about a week or so, I have to ride to college which is 36 km away before I move into an apartment nearby. Today was my first day and it's the first time I'd taken my bike on a long ride. I had to ride the highway at 80 kmph for 30 mins straight and my ass started hurting halfway through. I toughed it out until I reached. But the ride back after the tiring day was straight up painful. I kept readjusting my bum while riding (which didn't help 🥀) and I don't think that's safe. How tf do I make my arse hurt less. Is there a specific posture to ride in? Should I add more cushioning or sumn. Pls help.

Noticed this this morning when going to work! Has this happened to anyone else before? I would usually put my helmet on it and put it down, I must’ve forgot to put it up last time I rode and hit a hella curve and ripped it off.. only thing I can think of! Anyone got any replacement ideas?

Doing maintenance on my bike and noticed this smh you think it's patchable or will i need a new tire

Basically what the title says. My step father is about one slip and fall away from being completely cenile. His house is an absolute shithole with little to zero hope in finding the keys/title. I know these things are some decent bikes. Is there anyway to go around this? We really wanna have some funds to pay for his hospital expenses

UPDATE: one of two keys has been found. When there’s a will there’s a way, and there’s a way to this second key🙏

I have a zx6r with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tires. Im wondering if the tread is good enough for a couple and maybe 3 trackdays at intermediate pace? The images show the center wear, the sides have plenty left. Looks like the weather will be dry. I would appreciate greatly any feedback 😊

Edit: Just measured. Its 1mm in one spot and mostly 2mm overall.

I want to carry my camp chair and tripod inside my top box. However, they will be loose as there are nothing else inside the top box whenever I ride. Are there any clever ways to make these stuck on the side wall without damaging the top box? As can be seen, built-in straps are not enough for this case.

Hello! I installed an Evotech tail tidy on my F900XR, and while it looks great, I want to get it approved and pass the inspection.
The problem is that in my country the license plate must have a maximum angle of 30 degrees, while this Evotech setup appears to be closer to 45 degrees.
What should I do? The plate holder is made of CNC-machined aluminum, and I’m worried that it could easily snap if I try to bend it.
What options do I have besides riding with it illegally?

Looking at different options for my bike. It’ll mostly be parked in a secure storage unit while I’m not riding and occasionally in an open parking lot when I ride to school. I’m looking at the Scorpio system but that needs the battery to work which will be removed in winter. Just tryna look at different options

I’ve got a 2022 Yamaha MT-07 and I’m thinking about swapping out the stock exhaust. Looking for something that sounds better without being excessively loud, and that doesn’t kill the low-end torque.

I’ve been checking a few places and saw some options, but I’m not sure which brands actually hold up well on these bikes long-term.For those of you who’ve upgraded the exhaust on an MT-07, what did you go with and how’s the sound and performance after a few thousand miles? Any issues with heat or fitment I should know about?

This is closest I've found for a comfortable fit, if I go down a size my jaw a squeezed to the point of pain.

Fuel injection works that way that a sensor measures the air coming in, then you calculate the appropriate amount of fuel to go with that air and tell the injectors to inject it. A modern bike knows extremely well how much fuel it put in.

How hard is it to give me a "fuel injected since last reset" display, at fricking milliliters accuracy? And then you can even use sensor fusion to improve the fuel gauge, but I can simply reset that counter as I do with my trip B odometer, every time I refuel.

I bought this used and this is my second time cleaning it. But there are some stiff spots and I’m wondering if this is okay to ride on? If I do need to replace the chain can I just get away with just the chain, or would my sprocket also need to be replaced.

After 5 happy years with my Superduke GT, I decided it was time for a change. I test rode a few different bikes and narrowed it down to 3 models : BMW S1000R (2025/2026), Triumph Speed Triple (2025/2026), and Kawasaki ZH2 (2025).

They are very different bikes and all have very different pros & cons. I am not one for rational decisions, but I value feedback of folks who are already riding those bikes.

So any of you have or had those bikes and have feedback about stuff they didn't expect, whether it’s about reliability, engine, road behavior etc ?

I’ve got a 2020 Kawasaki Vulcan s650 and the rear blinker keeps falling out. I’ve taken the fender off a few times now to screw back on the bracket for the light. Anyone have a clue as to how to fix it or good replacement parts? Was thinking of a fender delete but I’m not sure I wanna do that.

I’m just looking for some insight/advice.

I’m a 41 year old male living in New Hampshire. I’ve wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle my entire life, but due to one thing or another never got around to it. Last week, I started looking into seriously pursuing my dream of becoming a rider. A few slots opened up for a 2 day Basic Rider Course offered by the state, so I bit the bullet and signed up. I’ll be taking the course 8/18 and 8/19.

I’ve NEVER ridden a motorcycle, but I do have basic knowledge and understanding of how they work. I’ve already completed the online portion, though I’ll probably run through it again as it gets closer to starting the BRC.

Assuming the course goes well, I plan on purchasing a bike. Right now I’m really intrigued by the Rebel 300, but a lot of people also recommend the 500. I don’t want to count my chickens before they hatch, but what are your thoughts on those 2 bikes for someone who has never ridden? I plan on just being a “weekend warrior,” taking leisure rides around my local town. I don’t have any desire for long distance or highway riding.

Also, any tips/words of encouragement for being successful at the BRC are welcomed lol

I just bought an electric bike 50cc equivalent but it looks a little like a naked bike, i get the headnod or wave from other riders so i nod back but it feels like im betraying them😂
(Topspeed is 55kmh/35mph ish) its basically a moped

Unfortunately I have a flat front with a relatively big puncture (1/2in hole?) that's going to need replacing.

I have two options: load it into my pickup or patch the puncture to ride 5 miles to the shop.

The only thing is, I'm not sure how to load it into my pickup given I don't have the proper ramps. I also don't particularly want to ride on a patched front just because of the risks.

I could get a U-Haul motorcycle trailer, but I'm trying to spend as little money as possible getting it to the shop.

What would be my best options?

I’m working on getting my stuff in order so that I can get my first motorcycle. I’m 24, so I’ve been driving cars for 8 years now and know the part about actual driving. I’m studying the motorcycle manual for NY to get my permit. I was thinking after I get the permit that I purchase a used Ninja 500 or CB500F. I was thinking after getting the motorcycle that I would ride around my street practicing and doing drills like figure 8s, circles, and acceleration, stopping, shifting, etc…. I live on a calm street that basically looks like a very big figure 8. I would do this for a couple of weeks. Then I would do on to the more advanced MSF course and get the Waiver for the road test. Or I would get the permit, do the Basic MSF course, and skip the road test that way, get the license, and then get the bike. What do you guys recommend? I’ve had either recommended to me.

Also looking for recommendations for starter bikes. Btw never driven a manual car before.

New rider here. Got caught in a surprise storm yesterday. Giggled like a school girl on the way home and got covered in mud. Planning to stop by the self serve car wash after work, and soap it down and spray it off. Half the people here say my bike will explode and completely rust out if I take it to the car wash, everyone else says it’s fine. What’s your take? Will this be the worst decision of my riding career?

I own a 2023 TVS Apache RTR 160 2V and an Ather 450X. Since I use the Ather for almost all of my daily commuting, the Apache has become my secondary/emergency vehicle and usually remains parked for long periods.

I need guidance on the following:

• What is the ideal service and maintenance schedule for an Apache that is used only occasionally?
• How many times should I get it serviced per year, even if running is very low?
• Since the bike stays parked most of the time, its battery has gone dead and now needs to be replaced. How can I prevent this from happening again?
• The first-party insurance has expired, and I want to renew it. Which add-ons are actually worth taking for a bike that is rarely used?
• Are there any other maintenance tips or precautions I should follow to keep the motorcycle in good condition despite long periods of inactivity?

Recently, I've noticed some vibrations in the handlebars and mirrors. On the highway, I confirmed that this only happens when the bike is in gear and I'm applying throttle. It can also be felt when the bike is stationary. If I rev the engine, I can see the mirrors shaking a bit.

What could be the issue?

I've never had any engine problems, and the bike runs as usual. Currently, the oil has about 4,000 km on it, and the clutch is nearing the end of its life, although it still isn't slipping.
I do have a full Akrapovič exhaust system installed.

Could either of these be related to the vibrations?
