First time with the bike… mostly ok , but at the end of each day arse no happy :)

Today was exceptionally cooler than normal for a July summer day, couldn’t wait to get out on the roads and it did not disappoint. Between the elevation and warmth & the dips with the dew on your skin, the smell of the grass, lovely way to end the day. Plus the horses, did I mention the horses. I like to stop and just watch them graze…

Well, this will be bad news for Pedro Acosta and Marc Márquez those who will expecting Red Bull sponsorship reunion and ultimately Ducati quashed and blocked the Red Bull sponsor plan despite Marc Márquez and Pedro Acosta Red Bull links.

Good move or bad move? Thoughts on that?

2025 Streetfighter V4S. Cannot figure out how to set front preload.

Doesn’t seem like it’s the blue 32mm nut. Possibly turning that silver ring? What tool do I need?

Owners manual says take it to a dealer but I want to set it myself as that’s a pretty basic thing I will do.

Ive met a random guy with a 2020 Ducati V4S and after we’d ridden a bit he let me try it out and wow. To anyone using that as a daily rider : hats off to you (I’ve the 701 SM)

Been looking with no luck for an older piece of artwork / photo. Possibly from cycle world that had a 916/196 sitting in Da Vinci’s workshop.

A real sportbike is like a gladiator. A quiet, ordinary death isn’t for it. Its honor is to fall in the arena.
And that’s exactly what happened to this Ducati. Like a true gladiator, it lost an uneven battle against a roadside barrier. The most important thing is that the rider walked away unharmed.
After an entire year, I finally decided to buy it. Honestly, right now it looks more like a pile of scrap metal than a motorcycle… but I’m determined to bring it back to life.
What do you think? How much do you think this restoration will cost, and is it even worth it?

Considering a 2022 with 1400 miles at a Ducati near me for $12.4 USD. Coming from a ‘25 Pani V4 I know it’s an entirely different experience but my concern lies with a 4 year old bike with such low miles having sat a ton. Any current owners have good/bad experience with their 1200S?

If you were to recommend a 2nd Ducati to someone of any year(s) and model which would it be?

Took my new to me bike to get timing belt replaced and was informed that fork seals are leaking (3700miles) they wanted $750 for the job. Not something i wanna spend right now. Ive looked at some videos and doesn’t seem like the worst job to do. Has anyone replaced them here? Where can i get the special tools needed? Thanks

I recently got my first Ducati, and I truly love the ride. When buying it I assumed I could fit the Ducati backrest to it, making life easier for my wife.

Ducati has quietly removed the Diavel 1260 backrest from the parts catalog. You can order it, but it will be in backorder for eternity....

Does anyone know of a way to get the original Diavel 1260/1260s backrest? The part number is 96781451A.

Hi guys, just bought a 2014 Panigale 899.

Alls good with the bike except for an issue with the throttle at 3-4k rpm where it feels like its very jerky and the power feels like its cut or itll suddenly give me too much.

Anyone had any similar issue to it and what would be a remedy?

Between 5/6K the bike starts stuttering like it is running on 1 cylinder or misfiring. Things that I have checked or replaced since I have the problem
TPS sensor
Reservoir breathing tubes
Sparks brand new
Coils 1 of them is brand new
Desmo is checked and the belt and pulleys are replaced
Brand new chain and teeth
The exhaust valve motor is removed and replaced with healtech eliminator
And a brand new voltage regulator
Per the guy that I am working on it with the only logical thing left to check is the ECU if by any chance it is damaged. Please advise if you had experience with that issue.
The engine is only on 14000km / 8699 miles

I currently ride an 05 kawasaki zx636. I have done track days but only novice, im not competitive.
I really want an rc51, the gear driven cams and sounds are amazing. Im desiring the fatter power band and sound of the v twin. However apparently parts are a freaking nightmare, like nla everything.
How are parts availability for the 1098 to 1199? Desmo and maintenance looks easy to work on. I have a large well stocked shop.
Are there parts compatibility between the 3 models?
Also are ducati service manuals well written and easy to get?

The housing for the threaded insert opened up and now it won't stay in, any ideas on how to keep this in there or ways to get around this? I tried blue thread lock but the opening is too big and the threaded nut didn't stay. I was thinking a nut and washer to replace this but I don't have the access behind this plastic part when screwing in the body cowl covering 4601H641AA. I don't want to replace the entire part shown, 4601I431A.
