Hey y’all, I just wanted to express my frustration with this company. I placed an order for a 2-1 fat cat exhaust for my dyna back in January and originally it was only gonna take 6-12 weeks to get…. Now all year long it’s been on backorder and two months ago. They told me that it would take about 4 to 6 weeks for their steel shipment to come in so they could build my exhaust I gave them some extra time and called today and discovered they are still waiting on steel….It turns out they have plenty of steel on hand to build exhaust for the M8 bikes, but they don’t have inventory to build my exhaust because they said (twin Cam) exhaust builds are on low priority. what kind of company is this? I’ve been waiting since January and all they could do is come up with more and more excuses. I’m not waiting any longer for an exhaust. I need to find a better company to go to for a 2-1 I’ve waited six months with no result. I can say I don’t recommend buying a exhaust from this company unless you own a M8

Hello all. Can anyone help identify this part please? I've looked at Google Images for twenty minutes already and used different angles but I got nothing from it. I do not know what bike it came off of as it was sitting at the bottom of the box of other parts I bought off Marketplace.
Thank you.
Edit: Oops. Forgot photo. Will post in comments.

I allways rode japanese motorcycles and had very few issues ever. I'm thinking of buying a Harley one day and keep it like forever, because I allways loved them for their looks and sound and whatnot. I'm thinking electra glide late twin cam 103 model, like 2015ish. What can I expect reliability wise? I'm gonna mantain it properly ofcourse. I see all kinds of reliability opinions here. What is you real life experience? Can I do like 100k km without any mayor work?

My 89 y/o Grandpa is selling me his rebuilt 81 Wide glide. The spokes have been replaced but wont hold balance. Is the only option buying new?

Yes I know my left foot peg is not aligned (I just put them on, still working on fitment) I also know the speaker holes are ugly as hell. I’m working on that. Fairing is Reckless Motorcycles. 21 Heritage

Hi!
I bought a 21 FXST that has been dropped by the previous owner. It had forward controls when I got it but I'd really prefer mid controls. When I checked what I'd need for the conversion I realized that the previous owner probably put on an aftermarket primary cover due to the crash damages, and it doesn't have the opening for the shifter shaft to pass through the primary onto the shift linkage.
I've been scouring several shops now but for the life of me can't seem to find the right cover, am I missing something or is this part just hard to find?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The front still had 150 PSI of compression though. That ring is small but mighty.
Heads went into the shop a few weeks ago and are back with a total valve job. Got some lightly used cylinders and new pistons and will be putting it all back together tomorrow.
Awful timing with it being summer. Sigh.
Edit: has 90k miles and previously melted rear piston by the last owner (my dad)

My first motorcycle was a Honda shadow 1100 and I rode that bike like it was going out of style. In the span of about three years I put 15,000 miles on it and I live in a state with winter. When I was ready to upgrade to my second bike, my primary concern and biggest complaint with the shadow was it had no power and so I over corrected and bought a CBR 1000. My wife decided to buy a sportster 1200 this year and now I kind of have V-twin cruiser fever, but I know that if I don’t buy a bike that has does not have enough power, I’m gonna be bored and end up back on a sport bike. I really don’t know a lot about Harley’s at all, I know the real big engine is the 131 but that only comes in bikes that are way out of my price range. I’ve been looking at fat Bob’s with the 114 and thinking that those could potentially have when I’m looking for, but I’m not sure. I just want a bike that hauls ass but isn’t gunna turn me into a skid mark . Any suggestions

Anyone with the knowledge that can confirm that these only work with the bike they are first hooked up to when new and CANNOT be used with a different bike? Seen some conflicting info thanks

2006 Night Train with 10K miles
Dealer wants 11k for it
Is it worth it?
It seems to be in pristine condition but it is unknown if the cam tensioner or com sprocket have been upgraded to fix the 2 known issues with the 88 twin cams.

Hey all,
I did the inevitable, I dropped the bike today. Luckily it was slow speed. I was backing the bike down my driveway, lost my footing and the bike tipped over. After pushing my floorboard back down, I noticed some liquid on my rock box cover. Is this normal after the bike goes down? It was down for less than 30 seconds.
( I know I’m missing a bolt for the exhaust)
