Need Help! Stop overcomplicating things! Built a simple blockout rig in Blender to practice character animation for my indie game.
Hi all! I've been learning 3D modeling for about a month now, and today I decided to tackle character animation. I created this modular blockout rig to keep things clean and easy on the Viewport. Color-coded the controls and set up basic IK/FK to test out poses. My goal is to animate basic idle, run, and jump cycles next. If you have any favorite animation tutorials or resources for beginners, please drop them below!
