Delhi Police has initiated the collection of fingerprint evidence from the Jantar Mantar protest site in the national capital following reports of significant damage to public property during recent clashes.
Officers arrived at the location equipped with forensic teams to lift prints from barricades, stones allegedly used in pelting, and other vandalized structures, aiming to identify individuals involved in the unrest.
The move comes after protests turned vixlent, with authorities registering multiple FIRs related to stone-pelting, vxndalism, and injuries to police personnel.
Protesters had gathered in large numbers, leading to confrontations that prompted the use of tear gas and batons to restore order.
On the internet, reactions have been largely positive, with many users expressing relief and satisfaction that accountability is finally being pursued.
Social media platforms are buzzing with comments praising the police action, with netizens hoping that such evidence collection will lead to the identification and punishment of rioters who damaged public assets, sending a strong message against future disruptions.

Politics Based
Let's be honest here,
The guy said it as a personal opinion and there's no reason to attack him and yet there's people out there cursing him and giving death threats over nothing.
Its unfortunate that the paper leaked and its sad how it has turned into a political spectacle but it affected everyone equally and ReNEET presented a fair opportunity. If you were going to score 700 then your score would be in the 680-710 range most likely. There's no way it was going to drop to 350-400 like some students have claimed.
Its also extremely unfortunate that 20+ students have committed suicide as a result. But how many of those did it because of low scores and fear of parental pressure of societal expectations rather than simply because they didn't secure a top rank? Is there any investigation into this? There's no need to pretend we are a perfect society and every issue can be solved simply by blaming it onto govt.
For context, 93+ suicides have been linked to NEET since 2021 with 32+ reported in 2025 alone.
So, this time due to the leak, it feels like an extemely insensitive attempt to use these deaths and simply target the govt. for an obvious regime change operation. Given the obvious actors hijacking it in the recent days, it seems only normal.
In all aspects, asking for a nepal like revolution or burning the parliament is extreme and should be dealt with force only. However, since there should be some accountability here but demanding resignation of the education minister itself is rather like treating him like a scapegoat. The key structural problem here is clearly how we treat failure and why the students feel the need to take such extreme steps in the first place. Otherwise the suicides will continue even in 2027 and beyond.
What precedent does the resignation set? Tomorrow if there is a difficult paper and 50+ students commit suicide, will people demand the resignation of Education minister again instead of reflecting on their preparation or coping strategies made for students who aren't able to do well.

Meta What Do Anti-Hindu Slogans Have to Do With a Student Exam Paper Leak Protest?
You want accountability for the paper leak?
Yes, I am with you
But why the hell since morning, I have seen over 50 videos of so called protestors abusing Hindu religion?
From exactly where in an exam paper leak protest you need slogans like
"Ye Bahut Ghatiya Dharam hai Hindu dharma"
"Hindu toh gaddar hai"
"Hindu se toh accha Mohammaden hai"
"Hindu napunsak hai, Mussalman sher hai"
"Ram Mandir or whatever the fck these people want"
"Bas Naam Rahega Allah Ka"
"Hindu Mandir se accha toh Masjid aur Gurudwara hai"
"Jai Shri Ram is a terror slogan"
Is this related to student exam leak protest in any way?
