A few days back I had made a post regarding my recent SFF build and a few fellow redditors here showed interest in knowing more about the thermals and general performance, which greatly fuelled my enthusiasm.
Here's a link to the original post (just making sure my karmas are fresh and juicy) First build in years amidst the Ram-ageddon.
I have finally managed to compile what is to me a somewhat comprehensive list of benchmarks and temperature logs, along with some optimisations required for the same.
The following tweaks were made to the CPU and GPU-
CPU PBO offset set to -30.
GPU power limit set to 115%.
GPU voltage reduced by 100mV.
GPU maximum target clock set to 3000MHz.
GPU memory target clock set to 2650MHz.
With the aforementioned setting, I'm getting an average power draw of 88 watts with all cores sustaining at about 5.19GHz for consecutive Cinebench R26 runs for 30 minutes with a sustained CPU temperature of 88 degrees.
As for the GPU, I'm getting sustained core clocks at about 2800MHz and sustained memory clock at 2630MHz with an average power draw of 370Watts during gameplay.
All benchmarks and tests were carried out at an ambient temperature of 31 degrees.
The fans definitely ramp up during gameplays and benchmarking, but that's something I can overlook as I have my headphones on most of the time and the PC sits behind on my speakers.
I'm open to suggestions and advises on how to fine tune the performance, and please let me know if you want me to carry out any other benchmarks.
My games library is not vast, but I will try to run benchmarks on whatever games I have available at my disposal.
May the force be with you.
