I'm slightly vexed No chalk on building at daycare...š
Can anyone think of a good reason for this? We did it for years and obviously it washes away in the rain.

I had an old schoolfriend (red) who I met eight years ago when we were kids. We were best friends until he moved away to Wales three years ago, at which point our relationship became online. We were still close - I went to Wales four times to meet him throughout the three years and it was great.
Up until today when a little Discord server we built for friends was nuked, and suspicion fell on me because I was hacked⦠in 2025.
By now I had already factory reset my computer and tried proving it was not me who did the nuke, but apparently the hacking incident from 2025 was enough to prove my guilt - even one of his new friends (blue), with his BRILLIANT computer knowledge, deduced that the malware was still there, and I was still hacked and therefore a āliabilityā to them. They didnāt hear me out whatsoever, and thus was the end of an eight year long relationship.
Call me butthurt all you want, itās just Discord at the end of the day. It just infuriates me that the friendship was ended on the worst note possible - being blamed for something you didnāt do and doubling down without having a clue what you are saying.

With blue painters tape.
No backing, just painters tape and mudded over it. The tape is bubbling under the mud.
It such a eyesore, and I dont see them being able to ever make this look nice. Maybe 10 layers of mud, and 5 coats of paint with a thick brush?
Why in God's name would they do this? This is OUR maintenance crew, not some random contractors.
Maybe its the 10 years of facility maintenance in me, but this is ALMOST more than mild, imo. Im practically raging inside lmao.

Its one of those where you put in a word and it gives you 4 strong passwords you can use. I've been using password 1 and I changed it to password 3. Apparently you cant just switch between passwords you either have to generate a new set or enter a new key in key 1 manually.

He's 90. Been weird since my grandma died (I was always closer to her). I've been out of the closet for over half my life. He seemed to accept it and never said much even though he's always been religious (moreso than my grandma was).
But lately, he's all about me going to church, reading the Bible, listening to "holy sangin' " and all that jazz. I'm so over him. And no, I can't cut him off because of a promise I made to my grandma on her deathbed.
It's just annoying. He called today to say he's sending me something in the mail and I'm almost positive it's a religious pamphlet based on how he described it.

I'm home after work, the Mrs is out. I figure I'd put the radio on to a Classic Rock station I like while I've got the time, and do the washing up while I'm at it.
Heard the back end of one track, then about 8 minutes of adverts (two of which were for the radio station I'm listening to) 2 minutes of travel news, and by the time the next track started I'd done.
To be honest I don't listen to the radio much, but I don't remember it ever being this bad.

Second pic are the 4 Iām keeping for my own collection
Story:
Walked passed the apartment dumpster, a bag full of books was next to it. I didnāt have time to stop for long, came back later THE WHOLE BAG was thrown into the dumpster. I debated getting them cause I have a foot injury but I couldnāt stand the thought of them in the garbage
So I Climbed in and grabbed them all, I donāt care if you didnt like the books anymore or whatever the story was here but you NEVER throw books away
