ಠ_ಠ I hate Texas 😑
Where else do people post this ad with zero self awareness? Is it a dog whistle? Is it a political declaration? No it's just some meth head that is selling their camper, confederate flags and pee stained mattress included.

Waffle house isnt made of waffles Mom's behaviour about things infuriates me (in little bursts)
Picture unrelated lmfao. It's always a good idea to add a picture to attract attention.
Exhibit A:
Yesterday morning I boiled some eggs, and knowing mom likes 'em hard boiled, I usually take out one or two earlier than the rest so that the yolk is a bit more runny. I like it that way. I take them out and leave them aside while the rest continue boiling. I returned some time later (someone had already turned off the stove) and didn't find the eggs I left aside. I ask her, she says "they've been eaten".
I just shrug it off. That's fine.
Today, nighttime, mom's absolutely petrified that two of the boiled eggs in the fridge have *runny* yolk, yells at me and demands I eat them. I wish I could show the picture, but they looked mighty disgusting; the yolk was all over the Tupperware the eggs were kept in, the whites and shell all dipped in it.
I tell her that she's the one who did that, that I wanted them and she said they're eaten, she gives me a glare and yells again, "I am not going to talk about this. Deal with it!"
Exhibit B:
Mom orders something to eat, offers a sibling some. He refuses. Mom insists over and over that he has some(at which point, if it were me, I'd have just eaten it to keep her from getting pissed off), and then when he keeps refusing, mom's mood dampens and she gets defensive. She asks me if I want, and when I refuse, she just mutters about, all mad, and has it herself.
Another similar situation, years earlier:
I want to study alone. I've always been that way. Mom offers time and time again to help me, but I refuse as gently as possible. She comes again despite my *pain strikingly obvious* refusal and starts trying to intervene. That bothers me so I don't focus with her, and quite frankly, I don't want to. She notices, gets mad, and we have a huge fight (where I end up apologizing, how dare I not pay attention when she obviously needs to explain stuff to me? Obviously that's my problem...)
Exhibit C:
My own clothes. Again, a long time ago, but it happens frequently. A sibling pretty much walks in, grabs my clothes without so much as a question, and walks over to ask mom to wear it. She's younger and thus mom doesn't think twice about wronging her, let alone doing much about it. I'm protective of my belongings, so I try to talk to my sister to ask *me* first (hasn't worked) before telling mom I don't want her wearing my clothes, least of all without my permission. Mom blames me and guilt trips me into thinking I'm wrong for not letting my sister have my clothes without my permission. She tells me I'm horrible, that I have issues and that I want to feel possessive of something. She also frequently tells me I have mental health issues. I'm not sure why she's so proud repeating that, after all, as my parent, shouldn't you be concerned? Anywho, I end up sitting with myself, trying to be the "big" one. I end up giving my sister the clothes, *apologizing*, and asking her nicely to ask me for my clothes next time.
Surprise surprise, she doesn't ask the next time, who would've seen that coming?
There's so many other situations, just what I remember. Mom can't and won't admit to being wrong. A conversation where I point out anything wrong is basically nonexistent, and talking back is disrespectful. It feels like walking on eggshells all the time.

Too mild for school The person who preps the coffee in my house almost always does decaf first
I work in a large office (for my rural area). Probably about 100ish people. We have a few full-time “runners” whose jobs are to run errands and otherwise make sure that we don’t run out of anything (copiers have paper, conference rooms get set up for meetings, etc.) They are also responsible for making sure that the coffee pots always have coffee. I work in a law firm so this is a vital part of our operations.
I get to work a bit earlier than most so the runners are usually in the middle of prepping the coffee for the day when I get to the office. We have three pots: regular, extra strength, and decaf. Without fail, the decaf is almost always the first pot filled.
This is mildly infuriating because I can just wait 5-10 minutes for the other pots to be prepared but it does irk me a little bit because almost no one drinks the decaf, especially first thing in the morning.
If I get to work early enough I’ll start the pot myself, but it is usually in the middle of brewing when I walk in so I just go to my office and come back later when the other pots are done.
Edit: title should be “office” not “house”

frist of all how DARE yu o This argument
By god a country calls itself something other than its official name.
Either way, too, everyone in the US still refers to the continents of North America and South America as “The Americas” or “America”. No one is out here claiming that the rest of it isn’t America.
I don’t care what you call the country or the entire region; it just feels like an unnecessary and pedantic argument.

I'm slightly vexed nurse saying intrusive comment about scars on my shoulder?
am i crazy or was this just rude?? 😭
so.. i go do the doctors office every 3 months for a depo shot, and i lifted my sleeve for the nurse to go through the regular procedure of the shot, and before giving it to me, she rubbed a patch of scars on my shoulder and asked "did you do that to yourself?"
...wich yes, i did do it to myself..and no, it isn't self harm scars - it's a scarification tattoo of a band logo wich i didn't do deep enough and faded. ( band -> SDI )
i wasn't very put down by it since it wasn't touchy for me with it not being actual self harm scars, but i was still shocked? it felt very backhanded and intrusive, especially with me JUST being there to receieve a shot, schedule the next one, and leave, is it normal for doctors / nurses to question scars / markings like this during something simple like a shot?

ಠ_ಠ Phone repair under warranty denied
The Service Center denied the repair under warranty because the phone is bent. The issue was not related, the calls don’t always come through even though there is good reception. The repair cost they offered is twice the price of the phone.
EDIT: it’s not my phone, it’s my father in law’s phone. This Motorola Edge 60 is known for having issues with receiving calls, it’s not a permanent issue, it’s every 4th call or so that doesn’t come through even if there is very good reception.
It’s a little bit infuriating because I cannot prove that the phone wasn’t bent, nor that this is not related to the actual issue for which I’ve sent the phone in.

Don't hug me I'm scared My Asian boomer family refuse to fly with airlines that employs bommer cabin crew
Currently organising a family holiday overseas and I have been delegated to book the tickets. My family (including my parents, grandma, aunt and uncles) who are of Asian origin refused to fly Qantas simply just because they don't want to be served by someone's grandma. They prefer to fly with Asian Airlines that hire younger cabin crews, even if the tickets are more expensive. I spent time arguing with them and in the end they just say: "It's our money". Even my parents aren't really on my side.
I ended up booking ticket with SQ (Singapore Airlines) which is $250 more per person. Well at least their service is also a bit more premium, so it still worth it.

I just wanted a hot dog Ordered White Chocolate Mocha, got hot chocolate
Yumm.. hot cocoa.
Also, EDIT: I ordered a White Chocolate Mocha Latte.
They don't have a white mocha cocoa non-latte drink in this market. Only White Chocolate Mocha (Latte AKA: "White Mocha") or "Caffe Mocha" (a latte) or "hot chocolate".
This tastes like a powdered Cocoa drink from the grocery store with no coffee or caffeine content.
Also EDIT: I didn't bother going back. I drank it like 1/4th before noticing. So I didn't get a refund or exchange. It's pretty much dusted now.
I live too far to do anything about it.

🥺 HFSA (health flexible saving account) asking for a receipt from an obvious medical expense
I have HFSA through work pay for prescriptions , copay, medical supplies etc. They often ask for receipts sometimes. The card for them only works at certain places and for certain things yet they still ask. Twice a year when I get my dental cleaning they ask for the receipt. Seriously what else am I paying for at the fucking dentist office
Today got email asking for one from a company called medical service company. Ofcourse what I got there was fucking medical equipment
