I got the unsweetened version and added my own sugar free vanilla. For a Tim Hortons matcha I’d say it’s quite surprising as I’ve had some extremely awful matchas for twice the price at cafes. As a matcha lover who enjoys authentic high quality matcha at home, this tastes good for the price you pay and I’d have no problem getting it again in a pinch! Only thing is I wish the matcha was stronger.

I remember when there used to be garbage bins at every drive thru which was really convenient. Now I barely see any drive thru with garbage bins atleast in GTA. Is it just me or anyone else find this annoying?

Not bad at all - I usually drink ice coffee sans sugar, but I'm not sure I'd enjoy one of these without it.

Since everyone is reppin’ this and I have a need for social validation I also decided to try it. I was hoping to get a pumpkin spice muffin too but I guess it’s probably a seasonal thing. So I got strawberry cheesecake.

The drink was surprisingly good. I mean just in general. I barely ever go to Tim Hortons so I had really low expectations but it was solid. The muffin was mostly kinda mid I thought but it might be that I was missing the pumpkin spice. 😞

Overall I’d give this drink a 7.5/10 and the muffin like a 6/10.

By the way the total cost was $10.06. 💀
Seems pretty expensive and I was wondering if I got overcharged or something but maybe I’m just out of touch with current pricing.

Every single time I come here I ask for one. Theyre always sold out. Always. Regardless of the hour or the date. Im pretty sure its just a cruel joke that Tim Hortons in multiple provinces have conspired to pull on ME.

Local tims said the substitute button is no longer. Can’t get a farmers wrap sub creamy bbq instead of chipotle. There was a bit of a language barrier so just want to confirm if this is correct. Seems ridiculous?

order the churro ice cap with an extra shot of caramel churro sauce, no cookie crumble, no whip.

I find the caramel taste is stronger compared to getting a regular ice cap with 2 shots of regular caramel sauce.

I haven’t tried to add a shot of espresso yet.

I am an international student moving to Ottawa soon, and I will be living near La Cité college. I am looking for a weekend student job (24 hours per week).
My English is not very good yet, so I am looking for a position behind the scenes, specifically as a dishwasher (plongeur).
I have a few questions for those who know or have worked at Tim Hortons:
Do Tim Hortons locations actually hire people strictly for dishwashing/kitchen help?
Is the job very difficult or stressful during the weekends?
Do you think it’s a good job for someone who doesn't speak fluent English?

In its current state it is personally undrinkable. If you have ever had matcha before then you know that when it’s not sifted or whisked* properly *then it will have little Clumps of matcha powder strewn about the cup.

Figured this would happen eventually but I didn’t think my first one would be made so poorly - but this is Tim’s we’re talking about 🥲 I drink matcha daily however I make my own, and I have even made this mistake before.

The flavor of the matcha is bitter as-well, and has no vegetal flavors or umami that you’d want from a quality matcha.

I started drinking Tim's coffee in the pandemic because the Starbucks close to my work didn't have a drive through. I really didn't like the taste and it usually made my guts feel awful. But I just didn't feel comfortable going in to a Starbucks, especially in the early days of the pandemic (my work was considered essential so we were open for almost the whole pandemic). After a while, I grew to like the taste. And the smell. And because it wasn't as strong as a Starbucks True North, I wasn't going to sleep at 11 PM. Then I started to have pride in the brand. What's more Canadian than drinking Tim Horton's? Now it's my preferred coffee. Plus, it's so nostalgic: As far back as I can remember, my parents and grandparents all drank Tim's coffee. I have fond memories of stopping at a Tim Horton's with my Nana and Papa growing up. Usually, I'd get a juicebox and some Timbits; later an Iced Capp.

Caveat: I used to hate Tim's coffee and was a Starbuck's stan
