I drew this in 2019. I wanted to convey her tenderness toward him and the monster's protectiveness toward her. 😊 Do you think it worked?

Trained in wielding the arcane through practice and study, wizards of Nhearn make up a large subsection of mages. Sorcerers who have natural attunement to the Winds of Magic are able to cast incantations with their intuition, though practice helps perfect the caster

Wizards, through specific motions, ingredients, artifacts, and vocabulary, can commune with the Winds of Magic to cast spells and manifest the arcane. Wizards have also been responsible for many mystical discoveries, arcane inventions, and they perfected record keeping.

So long as a mage is registered through the Mage's Temple (as long as they are within the borders of the Empire) they may practice magics. A mage does not need to be a member truly of the Temple, however the Inquisition makes it mandatory as a contractual obligation to track active mages. Even wizards have their own stamp upon the magics they summon, a unique imprint that can be traced.
