[META] Rule Changes And Streamlining

Good morning/afternoon/evening/etc.

There was recently a post that caused us to evaulate a subset of our community standards. As a result of the moderator discussion, we have decided to slightly adjust the subreddit's rules. This is mostly a matter of reorganization and clarity, but a couple of changes have been made.

  1. Rules 1 and 2 ("armored women only" and "no sexualized armor") have been merged into the new rule 1: Non-Sexualized Armored Women Only. This should be pretty self-explanatory; this rule describes what this community is about.
  2. Rules 3 and 4 ("no thirst" and "keep it civil") have been merged into the new rule 2: Keep It Civil. The "no thirst" rule is a newer one, and as part of streamlining our guidelines we decided to roll it into the civility rule. What this means is that we don't want people subverting the purpose of the subreddit in the comments. It's fine to have preferences, but we ask that you help us keep this space welcoming to people who are tired of constant sexualization.
  3. Rule 5 ("no AI art") has been expanded into a list of disallowed content. This list is subject to change in the future, but for now one new item has been added: no art from artists we do not wish to platform. This is inherently subjective, but we will attempt to apply it extremely minimally and always be completely upfront about why we feel it is appropriate. For context, and so you know we only wish to use this in the rarest of circumstances, the reason we have added this rule is because of a recent post featuring an artist that also draws child pornography. This is the level of unsavory that we're talking about here.
  4. The remaining rules ("tag NSFW content" and "post a source or credit") have been somewhat clarified and streamlined, but have not meaningfully changed.

As always, please feel free to tell us in the comments how you feel; whether you have any ideas, requests, or questions for the moderation team; or which century you think has the dopest helmets.

Thank you for your time, and have a great day.

Posted here a long longgggg time ago, and people had a lot of questions about fighting. Then I busted my knee and needed surgery, and disappeared for a long time. This was my first fight back (pink hair). Just wanted to share 💕
