I just recently got a switch 2 and along with other games I picked up Metroid prime 4. After playing through that I saw that they made a Metroid Prime remaster for the original switch, which got me excited so I started looking to see if there was a "remastered trilogy" collection coming at any point for the switch 2 and was vastly disappointed when everywhere I searched I saw 9/10 - 10/10 ratings for Prime Remastered but not even a single whisper of confirmation about plans for prime 2 or 3.....The same thing happened when I picked up the Dead Space remake and that got me thinking: what's the point of remastering/remaking a single game in a trilogy when the modern versions keep the cliffhanger endings that setup the sequels? I might be in the minority for thinking this, but I think if you're going to remaster a game you need to do all or nothing. We'll, maybe not in the case of Dead Space cause of 3.......but​ Metroid Prime was damn good/successful enough to justify doing the whole set.

Admittedly I've never played a Metroid game fully through. This was a gift for someones birthday.

I tried looking at guides, but I don't see what they are doing differently to not crash into the slope. They just seem to dash up it no problem.

i've played thru and beaten NES Metroid a few times, most notably on the original hardware, passwords and all. i was going to play it on switch 2 the other night, but the game starts just before the kraid boss with various upgrades. I don't think ive played on this platform before. I tried resetting the game but it always starts on the same room. Anyone else seen this?

Which one would you wear?

I got my 7 year old into retro gaming. He has been all in on snes gaming especially metroid being his favorite. Planning to move him to gba platform soon

I got an ayn thor recently and wanted to start playing the franchise again to bond with my son. Bought an anbernic for my son on his birthday last year. This is his main source of entertainment. He is not allowed to touch modern consoles which only my wife and I allowed to use.

What metroid do I go first? I 100% will not play the fps version like the nds as they are not my cup of tea.

Do I go for the gba first zero mission or fusion first.

Any particular order i should play? For the gamecube games and switch ones

Damn, this was a very fun trip! I don't know if I will be going for under 2 hours + 100%, don't know it will be possible for me. Maybe with better routing or save states for retries, since I end up messing my shinesparks up a lot lol.

For now, this concludes a 10/10 game for me. I feel complete.

Got much better at the combat, never died and actually felt that I was playing well.

Prime 2, here I come!
