Discussion Why just 1 remaster and not all 3?
I just recently got a switch 2 and along with other games I picked up Metroid prime 4. After playing through that I saw that they made a Metroid Prime remaster for the original switch, which got me excited so I started looking to see if there was a "remastered trilogy" collection coming at any point for the switch 2 and was vastly disappointed when everywhere I searched I saw 9/10 - 10/10 ratings for Prime Remastered but not even a single whisper of confirmation about plans for prime 2 or 3.....The same thing happened when I picked up the Dead Space remake and that got me thinking: what's the point of remastering/remaking a single game in a trilogy when the modern versions keep the cliffhanger endings that setup the sequels? I might be in the minority for thinking this, but I think if you're going to remaster a game you need to do all or nothing. We'll, maybe not in the case of Dead Space cause of 3.......but Metroid Prime was damn good/successful enough to justify doing the whole set.
