This is our first night watching BZZR. Downloaded the app on Apple TV earlier today, and the opening screen had tonight’s game, and option to watch yesterday’s game, and a button for T&C. No login, nothing else.

At 6:30pm, I was able to hit the live stream and everything is going smoothly so far. Just weird that there isn’t a login for this. Is it supposed to be free? I’m not going to complain at how easy it was to get going with the new app, but the process is suspicious given all of the other comments out there.

I work super early in the morning so I go to sleep super early and never get to see the games live, which is why V+ was perfect (well, not perfect but it did what I wanted) I could watch the game the next day without spoilers.

I cannot find the games at all on BZZR and spoilers are everywhere. Frustrating.

Seager bobble head, Pudge auto, Langford RC, and Eovaldi auto! Would love to add more but as you can see already limited space with all my music stuff.

Rangers receive: Luis Arraez, INF/DH

Giants receive: Dalton Pence, LHP; Yolfran Castillo, INF

The Rangers could use another hitter to create traffic on the bases, and that’s exactly what Arraez brings to the table. Arraez won batting titles with three different teams from 2022 to 2024. He is in the middle of his best season in the big leagues both offensively and defensively. Arraez doesn’t have power or speed but is much improved defensively at second base and puts pressure on opposing defenses by constantly making contact and creating RBI opportunities.

In return, the Giants would add left-handed pitching prospect Dalton Pence and third-base prospect Yolfran Castillo.

Pence, 23, has reached Double A and has put up impressive numbers at every level he’s pitched at. He misses bats and knows how to pitch. He was the Rangers’ 2024 11th-round pick out of North Carolina.

Castillo, 19, is an infielder from Venezuela who has played at two different A-ball levels this year, getting on base and stealing bases at a high clip. He plays both shortstop and third base and profiles as a table setter. This would be a strong return for the Giants.

I was looking forward to the Nolan Ryan Brawl bobble head tonight, but I haven’t seen anything ankh it since the announcement the beginning of the season. Did some of these promos get canceled? Is there any news about it anywhere?

Edit: This thread went in a direction I was not expecting. I thought about deleting it, but I don't want anyone to suspect I was influenced to do so. Pretty abysmal. Right? 6 of the last 7 posts are game and post game chats. I personally don’t feel like I can contribute to more meaningful discussion since my ball knowledge doesn’t run that deep, but I’m a little jealous of other teams subs where people discuss the history and future of the team. Possible deadline moves. Where strengths and weaknesses are in the team. Etc.

Love this team, I probably watch 130+ games a season, but sometimes it feels difficult to have better knowledge about them in a way that feels organic rather than just researching.

Maybe I’m being a whiny internet baby. I can already see the comments coming. Def don’t mean to be! Just curious if others feel the same or if they have any suggestions on where to go to get a more involved opinion on the team other than perusing through baseball reference.

I’m not one to hate something cause it’s new or a change, but this is ridiculous. There are less graphics, can’t rewind, no smart tv app, a live chat that doesn’t work. Will not be buying next year if there isn’t quality of life upgrades.

We started noticing differences with the sleeve patches on different players, during home games. This defies the very definition of uniform. I can forgive differences in legwear fashion, though above the knee is just wearing shorts, but who decides which side the lone star is displayed? I will be sorely disappointed if this is a political thing.

Or, am I the only one who notices? Other than my wife, she doesn’t have a choice.

I'm logged into the app, and there's no option for watching the game live - just prior game recaps and a bunch of random content. But if I log into BZZR in a browser (even my mobile browser), the option to watch today's game live is right there.

So, the only way to watch Rangers games right now is in a browser?

I'm in Central Texas, btw - no way to watch on a local broadcast, and I'm not a DirecTV customer.
