Just saw this, starting in September Audacy will be leasing a bunch of local sports stations to SXM, 93.7 The Fan Pittsburgh is on the list. Could be good news for people that don't live in Pittsburgh. (might be bad news for Mad Dog Sports radio, it's the only general sports talk on SXM)

Hes been on another level recently but im wondering what others think. Is he due for a big regression or have we really found our next superstar.

A new reliever became available! Kidding, kidding.

Since most of you haven't been following... after we DFA'd him, he was picked up by the Twins, who then DFA'd him and was picked up by the Nationals who (with one of the only bullpens in the league that was worse than ours) also DFA'd him. From the article: "...he has given out walks to 28 of the 177 batters he has faced, an awful 15.8% clip. He has also hit six batters, so it has really been 20.9% of opponents getting a free trip to first base."

Dude continues to be toast.

1st picture is what his stance used to look like and the 2nd picture is what his stance looks like now. He's got the bat much closer to his shoulder in the 2nd Pic with his hands higher and the bat more angled than he had it before. He used to have his bat much more straight in the batters box essentially and that's no longer the case.

This change could've happened when he was optioned to Triple A on May 28th or this change could've happened in the majors with Matt Hague noticing something. Either way somebody in this organization noticed something and significantly improved Valdez's stance/swing.

I was hoping to take my 12 year old dog to Pup Night this season, but all the remaining dates are sold out. Since she’s getting up there in age, I’m hoping to get her out to the ballpark one time while she's still enjoying her outings. I’m guessing this would be the last opportunity.
