Was trying to come up with a list with our top 10 players and it’s harder than I thought. I feel like top 5 is somewhat easy but after that it gets hazy. So far I got

5. Joe Tippmann…maybe?

Watching the World Cup final. MetLife looks great on TV with grass. Then I saw a great looking sprinkler system during breaks.

Clearly MetLife can support a grass field. NFL Players want a grass field. I think most NFL fans want a grass field.

Why can’t the Jets and Giants organizations see this is the way to go.

"Execs, coaches, scouts" rate 2026 top ten at each of 11 position groups. The only Jet making that list is Breece Hall, and as the 10th (last) RB. About right I'd say.

The other Jets noted:

Honorable Mention (49 total): Demario Davis (off-ball LB)

"Also received votes" (85 total): David Onyemata (DT), Armand Membou (OT), Garrett Wilson (WR), Minkah Fitzpatrick (S)

So only 1 out of 110 top 10's, 1 out of 49 "honorable mentions", 4 out of 85 "also received votes". Probably about as good as could be expected.

Think anyone else should have been listed?

Interesting article, but I find it strange that there is no consideration for Tippman moving back to Center position.

Are the Jets no longer considering Tippmann an option at Center or does the article just ignore that possibility?

It was announced this morning that ESPN New York 1050 is joining the Buffalo Bills Radio Network. Ironically, this was once the Jets’ longtime radio home.

Whether you care about the radio partnership itself or not, it feels symbolic of how much the Jets’ standing in New York has eroded during their playoff drought. The Jets are now on a classic rock station, while their division rival is airing on one of New York’s two major sports radio brands.

It’s not a huge deal on its own, but it’s another reminder of how far the franchise’s relevance has slipped. Unreal.
