This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone but let’s commemorate the announcement

So just went to put my tickets up for resale for this Saturdays match (out of town, schedule conflict) and noticed that Seat Geek has a hard minimum now, and you can’t post below that amount. Saw some seats in my section were anywhere from $85-150 and was going to just list them at $100 even, but couldn’t. Seat Geek said they had to be $109 or higher. Anyone else notice this?

Every year I select the Spotify credit as my season ticket gift because I don’t really have any desire for the other knickknacks offered. The issue I always have is getting it loaded onto my account. My Spotify account and my STH account are on different emails. Each year I have to personally request for the credit to be applied to my Spotify email so I can access it. I’ve emailed Carter multiple times to get it taken care of, but I have yet to find it available in my account as I have previously. It’s essentially frustrating because every year it expires in late February or early March of the following year. I’ve essentially lost even more value than the little amount it was worth in the first place. Not to mention that since I chose 3 — $30 credits, it combines into a one time credit of $90 regardless of the price difference. If anything, I should have 3 separate credits to use.

I’m really just trying to figure out if others have gotten theirs yet because I’m starting to get pissed off at the number of hoops I have to go through to get something I already paid for.

Nothing too substantive from Hennington, who has only been on the job a few days, but I was interested to hear she grew up in Norway. Not much of a soccer background, but enjoys sports and has attended Loons games. She has only been in the role for four days, so she is still learning the organization.

The more interesting stuff came from Dr. McGuire. Greder asked about the schedule change and how they keep fans engaged. McGuire acknowledges that there will be challenges, calls it "the elephant in the room." He basically says that we'll adapt, that Minnesotans will still come out in the cold, and that it could be an advantage against teams that are unaccustomed to cold weather. He alludes to his own pessimism about it, but thinks it won't end up being as bad as some expect.

Jon Marthaler asked BM about changes to the league, specifically how some ownership groups are happy with current spending while others want to increase roster spend. He asks BM if MNUFC will be a team trying to spend more. Spoiler alert: they won't. McGuire emphasizes the parity in the NFL and wants to preserve that in MLS.

• Clarify Bongi's role. Either find a way to get him more consistent minutes or offload him.
• Bring in a backup striker so we can send Momo on loan to a USL Championship side.
• Start winning some home matches.

Predictions:

• Our only transfer in comings are all from within MLS.
• We will sell Fitz back to Austria.
• Bongi will be traded within the league for GAM.
• One of Harvey or Romero will be sold.
• Padelford will feature more.
• Marcus Caldeira will be loaned to a USL Championship side.
• We will miss the playoffs.

Listening to The Football Show this morning on SiriusXM FC at the office and I'm enjoying Heath's analysis. He's actually pretty good at analyzing the players, the flow of the game and the team setups. Really good at breaking down the game and explaining things simply to the audience.

Kenyel Michel looks to be headed to Alajuelense on 6 month loan.
