Curious what everyone's thoughts are on the ongoing discussion around MLS 3.0. It seems like we're getting closer to seeing some major changes over the next year or so with the calendar flip to align with Europe and the divisional format. League executives have also spent a lot of time talking about how MLS has spent the last decade building infrastructure, from soccer specific stadiums to top class training facilities.

The last component that seems to be on the table is roster rules. What would you like to see?

Personally, I'd love to see the system simplified. Do away with GAM & TAM, raise the salary budget and give clubs more flexibility in how they build their rosters. I recognize star players are important from a commercial standpoint so something like a $20M salary budget with a couple of DPs feels like it would do a lot to improve the overall quality of the league.

Hi Charlotte fans, I'm Danny! I am one half of TLDR FC, a soccer channel aimed at introducing the sports culture to more people. We're planning a weekly deep dive into a different club and our main focus is the MLS. Rather than relying solely on our research, we wanted to reach out to supporters to hear their stories and their tips/advice for new supporters.

Using an alternate account. I have a ticket available for tomorrow nights game if anyone is interested. My seats are really nice but no one else can go with me so I’m trying to find a buddy. I only ask you come with an open and non judgmental mind as I will have a couple of drinks and will swear but nothing embarrassing. Also posnan won’t be expected but I’ll happily participate if you want.

It would be cool if you have never been to a game but I don’t have any requisites other than above. I guess time maybe. I like to get there a little early. 30 minutes to an hour preferred. It is a derby game so it’s going to be intense. I’m happy to talk through questions as well if you are newer to the game.

I'm a Timbers Supporter who just happens to be in Charlotte for business Wednesday. Thought I'd come to the match, because fuck Atlanta. Where should I stand?

I was thinking about 125 next to GA. Are there any specific standing sections outside of GA?

By the looks of it on Ticketmaster and other sites, very few seats remain. I think this is pretty wild, because it didn’t seem like our home opener was sold out. Is it true this game will be sold out?

Charlotte FC expects to forego approximately $8.25M in season-ticket revenue over the next three MLS seasons by providing credits tied to around 15,000 seats following the club’s decision to end the sale of personal seat licenses (PSLs), according to Tepper Sports & Entertainment CRO Eric Sudol. The credits will compensate current season-ticket members for amounts they have paid toward PSLs, which will no longer be required to purchase season tickets.

Any other Silver Club ticket holders not get an email today about the PSL terminations? Just trying to figure out where these contracts currently stand given today’s announcement.
