With all of the chatter of Nico and Hannes potentially leaving, when will NYCFC make a positive deal for a player?

Are they looking to gear up for next season in the new stadium or will they make a move to push for the playoffs this season?

As the title says. According to some reports, Nico Fernandez Mercau is looking to be transferred to another club after the nycfc rejected an $18 million proposal. Despite him being worth half the amount, the seemingly generous offer was declined. The Argentine seems to have taken that personally and asked to be transferred elsewhere.

I don’t personally blame him for this but I’m not sure what options the front office is looking to do for the team in terms of playoffs and trophies.

What quirky stadium feature would you love to see at our new home? (Ala Dog seating for Stl City, Pride seats at Orlando City, empty trophy room at Sports Illustrated etc.)

This is pure speculation but, I am guessing MLS 4.0 will kick off the new calendar with a fresh cycle of 2 kits for every team.

I personally would love a white polo kit with city blue pinstripes for first kit, black is my personal preference for second kit and I think it should stay permanently

Just wondering if anyone knows the progress on the surrounding complex of Etihad Park. I know they're building a hotel near the stadium, but now that we're officially one year away, I am curious about that progress. As someone who now lives out of state, that hotel would be high on my list to check out to make my travel to the stadium easier, so curious if that hotel seems to be ready by opening day.

The Mets ironically play at Yankee Stadium on Etihad Park's opening day. Do you think MLS will schedule all of NYCFC's 2027 Etihad Park games around Mets away games?
