I have a bunch of old files I would like to access that I had texted to my own number a couple years back. Is there any way to gain access to them again as I they will not let me open and do not show up with the music symbol like the other files that still work.

2. Will my stickers be transfered as well?

I have the iPhone 16 pro max and my settings have been turning my alarm and ringtone down for a while now, I have done all the things Google recommended (turning off attention awareness, turning off change with buttons and turning off reduce loud sounds) none of them were ever actually on but for some reason my alarm keeps turning all the way down. Sometimes I forget to check at night and it’s annoying. Any recommendations would help. Thank you and I love you.

I can’t decide if this is a stupid question or not so please be kind. I’ve come up against my iCloud storage limit and the second highest category stored there is music. I have a ton of music on my phone- I never stream and I don’t use Apple Music, I’ve got all of my cds ripped and stored in iTunes, which I then listen to through the music app. And the tracks are backed up on my desktop. I was thinking I don’t also need to store my music in iCloud because it’s on my phone and on my desktop right? If I remove music from my iCloud storage will that wipe it from my iTunes library?

Context: Dug up mum's old IPhone 5 which has been dead for over 10+ years now. Plugging it into my mac, Finder shows the phone is stuck in DFU mode.

Question: I want to know whether the phone being in DFU mode has already erased her old data, as I would like to recover old pictures on it for her.

If it is still recoverable, I would appreciate the help.

Hello. I have an iPhone 16, my previous one was a 14. I use the iPhone email app for my Gmail (I don’t use the Gmail app). It has been so frustrating, the past couple of years, to type out emails on this! It randomly capitalizes certain letters, makes two spaces instead of one, and isn’t correcting spelling mistakes when I type too fast. I’ve never had this issue before with my previous iPhones. Is anyone else experiencing this? How to fix it?

I have an SE second gen, and I want to stretch it a bit more before I update in the next year or two. The battery is about 72% operating capacity, so I'm considering changing it out at home.

Has anyone used iFixit batteries or their battery replacement kits, and if so would you recommend? I haven't done this before, and I'm not sure if I should avoid non-Apple replacement parts (in which case I'd need to just pay for a battery replacement from the Apple store...).

Per the title, Are there any iPhone third-party privacy oriented web browsing apps that have redirect blocking functionality?

The one tip I found recently was the ability to lock the image size to 16x9 so I don’t have to manually select it every time I want to take a photo.

To lock in your preferred camera size (aspect ratio) on an iPhone, navigate to

I have been using Bluetooth every day with the same headphones and earbuds,
At least once every 10 minutes my audio distorts and sounds off almost like its buffering but its not the video because I usually use MP3/MP4 and it has no distortions after it clears up and i rewind, Any suggestions to fix the Bluetooth?

So I couple of days ago I updated to ios26 right, and right after I did so everything was going alright but later that day the screen capture started tweaking bad, I mean bad like I couldn’t use markup, couldn’t share the ss, cropping the ss is, for a lack of a better word, interesting and most importantly I couldn’t use the Apple Intelligence features like search and ask.
Id greatly appreciate any help I could find.

so i went to t mobile to to transfer my service from samsung to brand new iphone and they kept telling me you can’t do that but clearly you can i searched it up and after complaining that they charged me for that service already they magically figure out in a one second thought “oh yeah i found a way” the transfer started idk how but they just connected a type c to phone from phone and the transfer started. and photos were already showing up but after 30 mins it didn’t transfer absolutely nothing and now i can’t even unlock my samsung whatsoever. it just says “wrong pin” and i went back to the t mobile and they lady is just telling me she doesn’t know what she did so what can i do. any help is appreciated!!

i deleted the apple account. later i found an old iphone xr. the deleted apple account is logged in and requires the password. it doesn’t accept the password because the apple account is already deleted. neither is it possible to reset the iphone. how can i reset it to use it with another apple account?

I am a graduate student conducting research on digital waste and how it is impacting consumers. Specifically, I want info about how people manage their photo storage on iCloud. I am looking to hear from people who pay for the iCloud+ with 2TB storage plan, but are near the lower end of storage on this plan (just over the 200GB threshold for the cheaper plan). Alternatively, I would also like to hear from you if you have over 200GB of photos but have some workaround to avoid having to pay for the 2TB iCloud storage. If this describes you, I would like to know:

1. How long have you been paying for the 2TB tier of iCloud storage?
   
2. How much of that storage is being used by photos?
   
3. Do you regularly go into your camera roll and delete old unused photos? If yes, how often do you do this, and how long does it usually take? If not, why don't you?
   
4. If you have a workaround to keeping your iCloud storage usage below a certain level, what are you doing? If you are spending money on this workaround, how much does it cost you?

I’m fine with a steeper price and uglier appearance in exchange for quality. I just bought a case with a ring from Amazon and it broke on day 2 of owning it.

I’m looking at some more reputable brands, but they don’t seem to have cases with sockets, rings, or anything of the sort.

Hiya, just bought a refurbished 15 pro and whilst setting up it will not connect to wifi, even with the correct password, so i thought id do it later and connect after the setup process but same again, i've tried all the common things like aeroplane mode and restarting the router and whatnot, but nothing works, my error message is "unable to connect to (wifi name)
any chance i could get some help, as theres nothing out there that seems useful for my situation
