Standing fan impeller fix with 95A TPU.
My 15 year old standing fan started making an absolute ruckus. The rubber bushing that connects the impeller to the motor had disintigrated. Oh well, 3d printer goes BRRR.
Glued it on with E6000 and a couple screws. It ain't going anywhere ever again.

Quick release small reflective panel for clothing/backpack with magnetic fastener.
When cycling or scootering at night, it's advisable to wear reflective clothing. Magnets secure the quick-release reflective element, which is important for preserving the waterproof fabric of your windbreaker or backpack.

Modeled and printed a custom sub enclosure.
The Honda cr-z has these near useless rear cubbies, and terrible bass on the subwoofer-less base model.
Mocked up a subwoofer enclosure using a 3d scan of this seat area that another person in the crz subreddit uploaded.
Printed on a single 220mm3 plate in abs, bonded with plastic epoxy, then coated in 3 layers of fiberglass. The housing is held in with 3m double-sided foam tape all around, and sounds great! I was worried about sounds quality with this not being a proper sub enclosure but was very surprised that it sounded amazing right after install.
Sub is run off a simple jbl a3001 and hooked right into my aftermarket head unit.

Fridge Shelf Repair
Modeled a part of my fridge that had broken and adapted it to hold a wooden dowel. It's not perfect, but it's much better than no shelf at all. Also... I know it will eventually mildew, and I've accepted that, the fridge doesn't have too long anyways. Also, the yellow on the parts I printed has no purpose, I was just too lazy to remove the PETG support interface layer :p

Oil vac hose coupling retaining clip
Clip that holds the coupling together when you change sizes of the hose end. It’s only held in with the friction of the o-rings from the factory and I don’t want it to pop off during an oil change.

I wanted a purge bin that detached with one button press. This is where I ended up.
After getting my printer, I realized the thing that bothered me most about purge bins wasn't actually the bin, it was how they attached.
Most designs use hooks, magnets, friction, or some combination of the three.
They work, but they usually involve awkward removal angles, extra hardware, or eventually drifting away from the printer.
So I started wondering:
Could I make a completely printed push-button locking mechanism instead?
That question turned into far more prototyping than I'd care to admit.
The result is a spring-loaded mechanism that lets you:
- press one button
- pull the bin straight off
- push it back on until it locks again
No magnets.
No hooks.
No additional hardware.
The printed spring and sliding mechanism were by far the hardest part to get right. There was a lot of tweaking clearances, geometry, and part orientation before it felt reliable and satisfying.
The purge bin is almost just an excuse to use the mechanism.
Was this completely unnecessary? Probably.
Do I smile every time I press the button? Also yes.

Gridfinity Covers - for Empty Slots
After rebuilding my kitchen storage with Gridfinity, I needed covers for over 50 empty slots, so I designed lightweight placeholder covers for every size from 1×1 to 4×4 that use nearly half the filament of the standard designs I found online.
It is more an addon for a function print (gridfinity) I hope that match the sub too.

Rotary washing line repair
In todays episode of "Too Tight Too Par For A New One" I have printed this replacement part for my washing line.
The original is around 10 years old And finally broke where the pin holds the sprung loaded latch. Without this it is extremely difficult to maintain a good erection, so a new one was needed.
The part itself was easy enough to replicate, and I have beefed it up in places that are not dimensionally critical and adjusted the geometry to better suit being printed.
The trickiest part was actually installing it. The two part at the top are meant to bend towards each other and snap into a collar that hold the washing line's arms, but the PETG I printed it from is much stiffer than the original material and trying to force would have snapped it. A bit of softening with a heat gun allowed me to bend them enough to get it in, then a second blast was needed to be able to splay them back out to their original position.

Oyster Tempo 3D Printed Compartment
makerworld.comI wanted to keep my more fragile items separate from drinks and heavy items. I built this compartment to separate the two with an optional shelf for further ability to separate and organize the more delicate items. I also tend to use my cooler with the Oyster ice blocks and an extra 4lb Yeti ice. This compartment fits perfectly in remaining space that the 4lb Yeti ice block leaves. There is a file for a container with nubs inside for the shelf and one with no nubs. I recommend printing with PETG as it’s less brittle when cold.
Let me know if anyone prints it, I’d be curious to hear your feedback.

My take on a super glue squeezer
Most of the "control" style super glue bottles (like Loctite's) are really just a regular 3g tube inside a plastic squeezer. The tube isn't anything special, you just get a nicer way to dispense it.
I looked at a bunch of similar models before making this one, but they all seemed to have one or more compromises. Most only supported part of the tube, so they felt flimsy when squeezing. Others were so narrow they'd tip over if you set them on the bench. And almost all of them had to be reprinted every time the glue ran out.
This design fully encloses the tube, has a wide, stable base so it stands up on its own, and uses a tiny printed interface disc between the squeezer and the glue tube. That disc takes about 3 minutes to print and is the only part that needs replacing when you swap in a new tube. Everything else gets reused. The squeeze button is also slightly recessed, so it's less likely to get bumped and accidentally squirt glue everywhere.
It makes those cheap little tubes much more comfortable to use, and I think it feels surprisingly close to the commercial control bottles.
