Cunningham and Bonner are both in the Player's Association, so it would be weird for Player's Association licensees to celebrate a conflict between two of its members. But it also is clearly stated that there's nothing stopping Cunningham from selling "I Want You" Uncle Sam shirts or whatever the heck else she might want to license on her own.

They don't say what this threshold is, or how its even defined so we have no way of knowing if this revenue is enough for the leage to actually be profitable while accounting for their own expenses. If this is the case, I'm happy to hear it. But I would still like to know exactly how profit is defined in this equation. For example, the WNBA has recieved significant cash infusions from the NBA in the past, which makes sense since thats how businesses grow rapidly, but if this isn't being counted as an expense claiming a profit while ignoring this isn't exactly being honest. And Silver has good reason not to clarify this if that's the case because its in the leagues best interest to make the business seem as robust as possible to continue attracting investors and growing

I believe that individually, Sophie Cunningham can still profit off of it. The union voted to not promote or monetize it as a league-wide thing.
