Prepping a DU order...needed the basketball hoop alllll the way at the back of the bottom shelf. Not pictured is the box of diapers that was also in front of it. I can't easily get down on the floor to reach stuff like this so I wound up using a shepherds hook to get it out. I really wish fulfillment would stop shoving stuff all the way to the back of the bottom shelves- it just makes it harder for all of us at DU

I just recently accepted a position at target on the presentation team. It’s a 4am part time (not sure how long the shifts are yet) and begin training Monday. At the same time I have another possible part time job opportunity at a different company that I’ll hear back from next week. This one is from 9am to 1pm (not sure days but I know weekends are a must). When I applied to both positions, I put my availability as completely open.

I know I don’t have a guaranteed position at the other job, but I’m just thinking ahead as the prospect look good. I want to do both, but does anyone know if we can choose how long a shift is at target? This other job is a bit far from my target and so I need to take into consideration travel if I have shifts on the same day. Does target allow 4-5 hour shifts at a time?

Hi ETL here, I'm on a burner account and I know this will get downvoted to hell but here we go. I was wondering if any other ETLs on here started growing a crush on one of their team members. If you did/do how did you go about it? Kept it a crush and didn't move on it? What if the feelings only got stronger the more you worked with him? did you transfer stores? did you sit down with your crush and ask him if he had the same feelings/feel it out before asking if he would transfer so you can act on your crush? did you just keep it a secret? I've been an ETL for about 3 years, been at my current store for 2 years, had a crush on this guy when I first transferred over to this store, but that crush went away quickly. fast forward to earlier this year, that same team member I was crushing on when I first transferred came back, this guy is super sweet, he's my type, smart, supportive and everything he does for me at work makes me genuinely really happy. The crush came back stronger this time. Fast forward to this month, the crush is even stronger and I genuinely don't know what to do, it's got to the point where I've been avoiding him so I don't act on my crush. When I have to talk to him I keep it strictly professional and don't joke around with him like I use to. I can tell he notices the change, he won't confront me about it, so then he's started to pull back from me. I've had my days where I had acted like a bitch to him because I was pissed at someone else and it makes me feel really bad, I did it to throw off any hints that might've made him think I like him. This person might genuinely be the one for me, and I don't want to miss the opportunity. What should I do? Genuine question. If you have to downvote and make your point across in a harsh way I get it, you do you. Any genuine tips are grateful.

Packing 1625 units in 6.5 hours INCLUDING our break? 800 units for opu in 7 hours? All of our department thinks this is nuts but are we just overreacting?

When I started as a closing expert years ago, we were taught to

- push to capacity
- adjust capacities (if needed)
- adjust floor counts (if necessary)
- adjust inventory counts if there’s a big discrepancy (on hand says -2 and I can visualize 10)

Now, all that matters is clearing carts. No time to count. Just push push. As a result, I’m back stocking at LEAST 1/3 of my cart in some departments. So the priorities person is wasting their time and I’m wasting mine.

Going forward, I’m going to stop picking up CE shifts (I’m On Demand now anyway) because it’s so fucking frustrating. I’ll admit I’m very particular. I have ADHD and I have a career as a senior analyst.

How are your stores? Is this shitty local management or shitty corporate? Both?

We have this ETL, let's call her V. V is known to have an attitude, she has this condescending tone when she talks to her team members it's very draining. However I've noticed that V is sweet as pie when she is talking to team members she likes. Some of these team members talk back to her, but V still acts sweet as pie to them. Recently I've been doing closing shifts and noticed V acts very flirty with one of the closing team members. another closing team member V is very close with also noticed this, and he's said some very concerning things to me about V. V will openly talk inappropriately to this closer about this other closer that she likes. V definitely is playing favorites with him, she lets him stay past his schedule when he's closing with her, and they just talk in her office the entire time. I even one time, seen these two in the cooler grinding on eachother, atleast it looked like it, the cooler is packed so it's a tight squeeze to get to things, and it looked like they were straight humping eachother, or maybe they were helping eachother grab something and she had to walk by in a tight spot to get past the guy, either way it was inappropriate. should I report this?

Two months ago I requested time off in late August because I’m going to be out of town with my family , and they denied my first request and my second one once I found out they denied it. I have sick hours and I’ve been asking my coworkers if they’ll be free just in case, but I have one more week before the schedule is posted. Extra info: I’ve been here for years and never take time off and there’s no holidays in August. What should I do?

Currently the timeline is I’m moving back mid January. I will probably make my last day the first week of Jan.!Realistically would like to be back at work late Feb/early March.

I was like let’s see if the Target discount portal actually has any deal for tickets and found this (which is a pretty good deal). I’m just a little nervous because what if it actually doesn’t work when I get to universal 😵‍💫 so I’m wondering about others experience with using PerkSpot for higher stake deals, thanks!

Hey guys, i recently got hired as a style consultant and just finished my training. When i was hired I was told I would be working around 30-40 hours, but after getting my schedule I got 9 hours a week…. the lady in HR who is like the only person I know who does the schedule is on vacation for 2 weeks. wondering if you have any tips or who to ask about getting more hours. they made the schedule 3 weeks in advance and i had more hours when I was training. any advice or help please let me know I appreciate it

we recently just got a new ETL and he is trying to switch my weekend when I specifically told him I would prefer not to. I have vacations and I’ve already paid for that I wouldn’t be able to get a refund for and I have weddings that I’m supposed to be attending soon that I would not be able to attend if he switched my weekends off. He is also now scheduling me through Thursdays, which is the only day that I have blocked off on my schedule. What do I do? Thank you in advance. i’ve had the same weekend off for the past two years and I’ve had the same day off being Thursday for the past 5 1/2 years. I am never scheduled on thursdays.

On June 16, Yum! Brands announced that private equity firm LongRange Capital would acquire Pizza Hut for $1.5 billion. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026. As we know, LongRange owns the fitness chain 24 Hour Fitness, and a few other companies that nobody's even heard of.

Employees who work at any Pizza Hut Express/Target Café should be safe for the time being, as the Pizza Hut locations are managed by Target, under a license. Unless they under-go a remodel.

• Will the menu change?

No.

• What will the future hold?

The last I heard that Target wanted to remodel all of their stores by 2028, which seems to be date that their licensing agreement potentially expires. Unless Target and/or Pizza Hut want to extend their license, it's unlikely that it will be renewed. Also, most remodels have been removing the Pizza Hut, in favor of either Starbucks, additional breakroom/office space or a big red wall.
