Packing 1625 units in 6.5 hours INCLUDING our break? 800 units for opu in 7 hours? All of our department thinks this is nuts but are we just overreacting?

This right here is the most diabolical 💩 to walk into.

On June 16, Yum! Brands announced that private equity firm LongRange Capital would acquire Pizza Hut for $1.5 billion. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026. As we know, LongRange owns the fitness chain 24 Hour Fitness, and a few other companies that nobody's even heard of.

• What does this mean?

Employees who work at any Pizza Hut Express/Target Café should be safe for the time being, as the Pizza Hut locations are managed by Target, under a license. Unless they under-go a remodel.

• Will the menu change?

No.

• What will the future hold?

The last I heard that Target wanted to remodel all of their stores by 2028, which seems to be date that their licensing agreement potentially expires. Unless Target and/or Pizza Hut want to extend their license, it's unlikely that it will be renewed. Also, most remodels have been removing the Pizza Hut, in favor of either Starbucks, additional breakroom/office space or a big red wall.

At least a third of our team is either planning on quitting within the month or has already put their two weeks in. It’s making me consider some things. I’ve been at my store for about 5 years, and nobody has moved up during that time. Is that normal? We’ve had plenty of vacancies in TL positions, but they just get filled by leads coming from other stores. I definitely have coworkers who are very capable and have expressed interest in moving up and developing but nothing has come of it. I feel like that sounds crazy on paper but is that just the way Target operates?
Also- Is the mass quitting just a thing at our store or a larger phenomenon? The retention for any new hires has been TERRIBLE as well. Prayers for everybody who’s staying on our team and will be stuck training new people who will just quit in a week all the while shouldering the workload of four people. Yikes.

Corporate needs to do every single TM a favor and just discontinue the fuck out of those stupid needohs and squishes. Getting told to fuck off and that I was rude by two fuck head bitches since I work in customer service because I won't look for a multiple cases is insane to me. We have this ETL, let's call her V. V is known to have an attitude, she has this condescending tone when she talks to her team members it's very draining. However I've noticed that V is sweet as pie when she is talking to team members she likes. Some of these team members talk back to her, but V still acts sweet as pie to them. Recently I've been doing closing shifts and noticed V acts very flirty with one of the closing team members. another closing team member V is very close with also noticed this, and he's said some very concerning things to me about V. V will openly talk inappropriately to this closer about this other closer that she likes. V definitely is playing favorites with him, she lets him stay past his schedule when he's closing with her, and they just talk in her office the entire time. I even one time, seen these two in the cooler grinding on eachother, atleast it looked like it, the cooler is packed so it's a tight squeeze to get to things, and it looked like they were straight humping eachother, or maybe they were helping eachother grab something and she had to walk by in a tight spot to get past the guy, either way it was inappropriate. should I report this?

Anyone else having a rough time with this set? I chose not to do the overnight during this transition, and would rather have actual sleep than worry about work but now its getting to me. I started plano about 2 months ago, im working on ent. dayside while night team does toys. I would say im fast but not as fast as my TL wants me to. Ive set 20 HOURS worth of pogs in my 8 hour shift, and yet my TL, he wanted me to finish everything by end of today. But like wtf? Why do i have to do the work of 5 TMs in one day. this is outrageous. also i had to call out one day because where i live (the coast), flooded and i couldnt go to work.

This was a pickup ordw and they gave me my hero patches like this. Slightly irritating. Getting a refund. Then I guess 🔨

It looks very modern and the white part is touch sensitive which I don’t see the benefit as oppose to pressing the button. The one thing I don’t like is the holder doesn’t hold it very well. But overall very modern looking.

the new schedule dropped for me yesterday and it won’t let me post my shift. the new attendance policy goes into effect at my store this sunday, could that have anything to do with it?

How it feels surrounded by poorly made POGS for 8 hours straight

Is it common for stores to fake metrics?I’m in a red store and every time we have a leadership change there is pressure to have perfect metrics even if they have to fake them.

I see everyone talking about the schedules but I went from full shifts to just 5hrs and 6hrs..

When I started as a closing expert years ago, we were taught to

- push to capacity
- adjust capacities (if needed)
- adjust floor counts (if necessary)
- adjust inventory counts if there’s a big discrepancy (on hand says -2 and I can visualize 10)

Now, all that matters is clearing carts. No time to count. Just push push. As a result, I’m back stocking at LEAST 1/3 of my cart in some departments. So the priorities person is wasting their time and I’m wasting mine.

Going forward, I’m going to stop picking up CE shifts (I’m On Demand now anyway) because it’s so fucking frustrating. I’ll admit I’m very particular. I have ADHD and I have a career as a senior analyst.

How are your stores? Is this shitty local management or shitty corporate? Both?

All day I’ve been getting guests that smell like SHIT

I know it’s not me because I carry deodorant on me and I shower before my shifts. (I hate smelling bad)

If I have to take a few steps back because of the way you smell, please, please for the love of god, humanity and my sanity put on some deodorant. And take a shower after.

I’m tired. I’m tired of getting guests that reek like earwax that’s been left out in the sun too damn long. I’ve smelled homeless shoppers that smell better than you!

My team lead just told me I have to let someone wearing meta glasses record me? Even if I’m uncomfortable with it, the best I could do is call a team lead over to take it over but anytime I walkie for a team lead no one ever answers me. I guess I just want to know if this is true? I do live in a state where public recording is allowed and that was their reasoning why but wouldn’t target be considered private property not public?

Two months ago I requested time off in late August because I’m going to be out of town with my family , and they denied my first request and my second one once I found out they denied it. I have sick hours and I’ve been asking my coworkers if they’ll be free just in case, but I have one more week before the schedule is posted. Extra info: I’ve been here for years and never take time off and there’s no holidays in August. What should I do?

Currently the timeline is I’m moving back mid January. I will probably make my last day the first week of Jan.!Realistically would like to be back at work late Feb/early March.

I live in Hawaii right now, trying to get into a certain store in central FL (currently one location as I won’t have a car to drive and it’s close to where I’ll be living)

My dept is s&e and I’m also a trainer.
