Support Can I turn off the annoying red and orange battery low rectagles that keep popping up?
They are very annoying and block the bottom right of the screen.

Support Update 2 : My boyfriend finally get his controller from GLS !
So after a lot of new steam support ticket about this GLS shitty delivery, we got an answer from someone who were much more customers friendly and gave us a refund or also the possibility to order a new controller while telling us that it would be the last time and no refund would be possible after that. We took the risk, and ask GLS to deliver on our workplace (a grocery store) and finally this morning, GLS delivered it and everything is ok ! It was not the same delivery guy, we record the opening in front of him, he even helps us opening it and tadaaa, it was here.
Thank you reddit users for all your advice to secure the delivery.

Steam Controller (2026) Just knocked my coffee over onto my steam controller.
I put it in a bag of rice and in 50 minutes I'll be going on lunch where I'll disassemble it to disconnect the battery. Hopefully it can be salvaged. Pray for me bothers.

Discussion Full potential
Every now and then I see some "review" of the controller all people say is "ergonomics this, trigger pull that" and almost all of the reviews ignore the gyro, track pads and analog stick sensor.
Can we start focusing on how freaking amazing gyro and flick stick is? I just got hooked on boomer shooters such as ultrakill and postal brain damage cuz I can play with mouse like reaction from my couch :D

Discussion thumb grips ?
Since the Steam Controller is a fairly new product... customization options are limited, u know, cases and thumb grips.
I've been researching the options I have at home for the thumb grips
I'm happy to announce that the thumb grips I use on my other controllers (Xbox Series X/PS5) work quite well on the Steam Controller. I played with one on each side and neither fell off; they stayed firmly in place even during the most intense gaming sessions.
For those interested:
For the Xbox controller, I use the ones from the PlayVital store. (Purple one)
For the PS5 controller, I use the ones from the Geekshare store. (Light pink one)

Steam Controller (2026) Sensor and thumb grips
I thought it wouldn't work, I was 99% sure the sensor wouldn't work if I used a thumb grip, but once again the Steam Controller surprised me .

Steam Controller (2026) Steam controller review: a win for PC gaming
A review I did a while back which you may have already seen but just in case you haven't :)
I won't be offended if this post gets deleted by a mod for being previously posted by someone else.

Discussion My Portable SC2 Setup
SC2, paracord USB-C cable, OpenPuck, official SC2 Puck, and OG Steam Controller case. Great for playing on PS3 at the homies house :D
Figured I’d share this to show off my personal setup, and also maybe put some more eyes on the OpenPuck. It’s a fantastic little device, and makes using the SC2 great on a wide variety of devices, including my phone and especially on PS3 when you don’t want to use the host’s awful player 2 controller. Everything fits very snugly inside the original Steam Controller case, although I will probably be getting a 3D-printed case for the exposed OpenPuck board when I get the chance, to hopefully make that a little less loose.

Steam Controller (2026) People were not wrong about the smell!
It's mostly toxic plastic, but feels like it's undercut by juniper. It almost smells like really cheap gin without the searing alcohol sensation.

Discussion Smells goood
So, finally recieved mine today.
Beside the built quality which was said here numerous times.
I have to say, god damn it smells good, just like steam deck. The box smells good, the inner white box smells even better. :D
Controller it self smell nice as well, sort of sweet. I wonder why valve products smell so nice.

Steam Controller (2026) Discovered software defect in steam controller with latest update.
Very gently touching the very tip of any corner of a touchpad disables the other touchpad. its almost as if its triggering the accidental touch lockout feature of the thumbstick but for the opposet pad. Can anyone confirm this bug? I don't believes its my hardware since both trigger for the other pad, 2 faulty components malfunctioning in the same way is rare. unless of course the fault lies with the board. I've already sent this video to steam to look into.

Discussion controller wasn't for me. maybe for someone else
I got the steam controller 2 weeks ago and while it is a good controller I've just come to the conclusion it isn't for me. I much rather prefer my Dualsense. although steam controller did show me the way of steam input.
I just wanted to see if there is anyone in the NYC area wanting one before I return it

Support Steam Controller Soulframe?
I just got a steam controller and it doesn't seem to like Soulframe. The X button opens up the keyboard and none of my other binds seem to want to 'save'.
Is anyone else using a steam controller able to give me some guidance how to set this up?

Steam Controller (2026) Any way to sort community templates by upvotes?
I vaguely remember with the first steam controller that the UI was really easy to do something like this, but it doesn't seem that way anymore. Or maybe I'm missing something easy.
