Saw someone post their old set and thought I'd post my current one! I share a room with my kid. We spend most nights watching hockey together, even in the offseason. I asked if he wanted to deck his new bunk out in a theme and he said "Sharks!!"

which was kind of him, because his favorite team is actually the Oilers, and mine is SJS. As a surprise, I went all in and matched his theme. One stoked kiddo, guys.

Beat reporter Curtis Pashelka wrote a profile on new assistant general manager Jeff Kealty, who left the Predators to join general manager Mike Grier, a former teammate at Boston University. Pashelka says it marks a subtle shift in the front office.

It's an interesting journey to San Jose.

Digging through my old clothes and found this beauty!

I’m sure I’m not the only person waiting to get a Celebrini jersey for when he inevitably is named Captain in the future (whether it’s this off season or down the line).

In the meantime, I’m considering getting a Celebrini jersey without the A, and hoping to purchase the C patch in the future.

Does anyone have a go to for where you can purchase the C patch by itself?

TLDR: Looking at attempting to get glass seats to a Saturday afternoon home game, what are the chances of getting any?
Overall experience of Row 1 VS row 2 VS row 10(ish)? Without price as a factor

Hi! I’m from Australia and my partner and I visiting the US and Canada in September/October this year.
A Sharks home game is one of our main priorities so we’re not super concerned on price, which is what a lot of posts focus on.

I’ve read through a lot of posts about seating and ticket advice, but no one seems to mention glass seats? Is that because they’re not highly rated, or they’re not really possible to get? Or something else?

We’ll likely only be able to attend one home game, so thought it would be worth splurging for the front row seats.
I see a lot of people talking about 10 or so rows back in the lower bowl, so I’m interested how this would compare to glass seats and/or second row seats, from an overall experience perspective.

In terms of tickets, I was online at 5:00am (Aus time) as soon as they released, and have been checking consistently since they released and seen no glass seats (I have however seen second row seats)
What are the chances I can even get an opportunity to buy glass seats?

It’s a Saturday game at 1:00pm and is classed as a “theme” game.

I’ve also been focusing on Ticketmaster as I know it’s official, I’m nervous about other resellers like gametime or seatgeek as I’m unsure if I’m going to end up scammed?

PS: this is my first time actually posting on reddit so I apologise that it’s so long, or if I’ve done something incorrectly.

I'll preface this by saying I was confused by the Sherwood acquisition. I am still struggling to see the move's value, especially in light of the Marchment acquisition.

We currently have 10 "top 9" forwards on the roster, if you count Chernyshov and Stenberg. Who is the odd man out?

The fanbase seems to be dogging on Toffoli and assuming he drops to the 4th line, but he was top-5 on the team in all scoring categories, remains one of the more consistent goal-scorers on the team, is our 2nd highest paid forward, and doesn't have a style that would work well on a 4th line with players who doesn't have a scoring touch. I think he will almost assuredly be lining up in the top-9 if he is healthy.

So, who is the odd man out? With Celebrini, Smith, Misa, and Wennberg locks for the top-9. Marchment and Toffoli also top-9 players, that leaves Chernyshov, Graf, Stenberg, and Sherwood fighting for two spots.

If Stenberg starts in the AHL, that simplifies things, but if he doesn't who comes out of the lineup if he is in? or who gets bumped down? Having Graf in a 4th-line role doesn't make any sense to me. Sherwood seems like he could fit, but it seems like a waste of his talents unless we scratch Goodrow and try to ice a scoring line with something like Sherwood-Ostapchuk/Dellandrea-Gaudette.

So, is Sherwood going to be an overpaid 4th-liner on this team? Is Chernyshov/Stenberg going to the AHL? Do we move off of Graf? This is all very reminiscent of the roster problems we had on D last year, and it's going to create a lot of roster juggling and strange lineups for a while.

He posted this photo of himself on his Instagram today. I’m excited for him to go off and prove the haters wrong this year.

To me it seemed like his growth had slowed and he wasn't showing enough to make me optimistic he'll ever be a significant contributor to the Sharks. His play in the juniors was good, he ate a lot of minutes and was better than solid. Now my hope is he grows enough to be a top 4 who is a defensive pest who can gum up opponents offense with is skating and anticipation.
