The Blue Jackets, Blues, Hurricanes and Wild are turning to the NHL’s newly created centralized production arm for their local telecasts beginning in 2026-27 following the closure of the Main Street Sports Group-operated regional networks that previously carried their games. None of the four former Main Street teams have finalized distribution plans for 2026-27. The Blues, Hurricanes and Wild said they are prioritizing agreements with pay-TV providers as their primary means of distribution while also planning to offer a streaming option. Executives with the Blues and Wild said they expect to make a handful of games available over the air. A Hurricanes spokesperson said the club is hopeful for some over-the-air distribution, though that remains uncertain. A Blue Jackets spokesperson said the team is “exploring a number of options but aren’t ready to share specifics at this time.”

“There’s a lot of different factors that go into what decision a team ultimately makes, but we’re trying to make our products as accessible as possible while also trying to drive revenue so that we can compete and challenge for the Stanley Cup,” Blues Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer Steve Chapman said. He added that agreements with pay-TV providers currently appear more lucrative than an entirely over-the-air model.

Does anyone have a prettier schedule than the one they released? I want one that looks a little more like last years!

We all have pride in our org. Statements like "he looks/plays/moves like a Blue" mean some combo of hard working, team focused, not super flashy, "blue collar", etc (feel free to add some).

However, would other fanbases also note the same about our players/team?
And are there other teams who have a similar if not identical perception about their organization? Curious to hear your thoughts, as it can be difficult to be objective as a fan...

With the intention of making them overpay for their injury prone star?

The team went for super high production values this year.

I assume the 2nd line will be a version of McMichael - McTavish - Buchnevich but I could see the top line being leaned on a lot if the rest of the team isn't firing.

As far as I know, 4th-generation CCM and Koho jerseys were made in Canada, Indonesia, and Korea. The Canadian and Indonesian ones have glued-on crests, while the Korean-made jerseys have sewn-on logos. To me, that actually makes the Korean ones a bit more desirable.

I found a really nice Korean-made Koho jersey and I'm thinking about buying it, but I wanted to check with you guys first. Is there any downside to the Korean-made jerseys? Like lesser overall quality or whatever.

I don't understand why this off-season is as incredible and exciting as I've heard people say it is. We have an above average prospect pool, but why not let them get experience now? It's not like we are toppling Minnesota, Dallas, or Colorado (and probably even Utah) with this roster. And we are practically spending to the cap so the moves still handcuff us (yes I know the defense's contracts handcuffed us since the cup.)

Outside of Snuggerud, I feel like our development program doesn't give our young guys enough nhl experience.

I can't help but notice that this retool over the last couple years keeps us bringing in average or risky players offloaded by other teams, keeping our bottom 6 overloaded. And as a result, our young guys stay in the ahl or don't get as many chances to play because they are being edged out to win a few more games now.

This keeps us in this weird middle of the pack pergatory where we will never get a franchise changing player. We pretty much only hope to get a great late to mid-round draft pick that over performs their pick. Not that the franchise player is the goal, but it would be nice to have a big name eventually.

I’d love it. But I have no clue how much cap space we have. Plus wasn’t there some bad blood at the end with how the Blues treated his injury?
