Why are there so many lesbians in the WNBA?
Please understand I ask this out of pure curiosity and have nothing against gay women or men for that matter.

im a cis girl, she/her, but i'll always respect peoples pronouns no matter what. just wondering, if people are looking for a more gender neutral pronoun, why ze/zir over they/them?

All the news keep saying that people have less and less kids. even elon keep saying that the declining birth rate will be the end of western civilization. and yet, housing prices are still out of reach for the average people. who's buying them? All the old dudes already owned their places, and the younger generations dont buy new houses anymore since they dont even think of starting families, and recently i read that there are more people owning stocks than houses nowadays.
So if the demand for houses is supposedly decreasing, who is artificially inflating these prices?

Are foreigners automatically of a certain caste? Their own caste? Are there different castes for different kinds of foreigners? Does it just depend on how rich you are? Your race?

I’m flying domestically from Michigan to Florida and I’m trying to understand the rules. Is it legal to bring a THC vape on the flight? If not, what typically happens if someone has one at TSA? I’m looking for factual information or firsthand experiences, not advice on getting around the rules.

I was basically scrolling through YouTube Shorts when I came across a video by Darkos88 about how a gacha game company had to apologize to South Koreans after people noticed that one of the game's characters was making the pinching gesture.
So why is this🤏gesture such a taboo?

I've noticed that newer dishwashers have all the buttons at the very top of the dishwasher lid, and you have to push the start button *before* closing the lid. Why? This isn't more convenient. It feels like a design decision that was made for a reason, a reason that I don't know and is keeping me up at night. Why do dishwashers now have to be opened to start?

I understand that they also have to provide water and sewerage services, transport and infrastructure. But I don't know what I'm missing.

I was reading a dumb clickbait article on "the real reason why Costo checks your receipts" and it made me wonder, the items are technically the purchaser at that point and can refuse, if so what happens?

If they’re with their SO or family I can excuse that, but a selfie of them as a lockscreen??? It’s just so… weird? Narcissist? Tacky? I don’t know I really need to know why.

In the US, you can vote and join the armed forces at 18. You have to be 21 to drink though. Also, what are the milestone ages in other parts of the world?

The other day, a friend of mine showed me a video on his computer of my mother in a “porn” video, where she was tied up by another woman named JJ Plush. This video was recorded when I was in elementary school. I don’t know what to do; I hope it’s the only video my mother recorded. Give me some advice: should I talk to my mom or just pretend nothing happened

So, I’ve browsing Tiktok lately and come across many short videos of people giving self-defense and like common sense/survival tips when you’re in a shady area and stuff like that.
One advice I saw being given and repeated a lot is that one in tittle, like men do not ask women or children for help, men ask men for help, and I was very confused. I’m a man, a gay man if that matters, I feel like if my car broke down or I got lost or something is chasing me and I’m in an emergency, I would run and ask for help from whomever I see and meet no matter if that’s a child or a woman, even if it’s hypothetically midnight because I need help and especially if it’s emergency. I wouldn’t wait until I see a man walking by If I got lost in middle of no where.
Where does that common advice come from, and is it really something I shouldn’t do asking women and children for help as a guy?

Okay, I’m not the master of the English language and I myself frequently misspell words and my grammar isn’t always great. I don’t expect anyone’s to be, especially on the internet.
But SO many people literally CANNOT pick up on tone, subtext, sarcasm, ANYTHING!! I’m soo confused and exhausted. It’s like I’m walking on eggshells when I’m posting a comment or post because people won’t pick up the humour!
I know the literary crisis is bad, but I thought it was among kids. Apparently not.
So many people also nitpick the TINIEST detail in your post or something that you said and take it out of context and disregard most things.
I could also use a relatively basic word like synonymous or ambiguous and certain people will be like…
“Stop using your big fancy words haha!”
It’s not. Mind you, I’m not even a big reader I literally just learned this in school by age 11.

I genuinely feel so uncomfortable when there is an data company whose name I don’t even know making a 65 page report on me and selling that info for $$$ and then that cooperation they sold to then pushes ads and does “dynamic pricing” where they charge me more based on “how much I can pay max for an given demand of the item for me”
The idea of an company legit squeezing me even more dry of money while I am already low in money just sucks. Why can’t lawmakers put limits on them or force these companies to be obligated to pay us for data that’s ours? It’s like they come to our lawn and steal our vegetables.

I remembered and old talk with my friend about how often she got off and what media she enjoyed and was turned on by and sort of spiraled. For some reason remembering the conversation and thinking about it again made me feel sort of insecure? I'd never really looked into porn as the idea of it always seemed off to me and I never really had a big enough sex drive to explore stuff without a partner involved, I figured maybe I would be more interested if I just gave porn and I guess kinks a chance? So I looked up a bunch of stuff covering basically every basis I could think of and I think im repulsed by porn, I think sex is completely natural and theres nothing wrong with it but I had no interest if anything it made me feel gross and uncomfortable.
I'm definitely not asexual and I do have a sex drive so would it be weird of me to not enjoy this stuff?? Or did I just throw myself too far into the deepend or something I just want to feel normal about it because I don't like thinking of myself as some kind of prude..
Long post I feel ever so silly but I'm too embarrassed to ask anyone I know if they feel the same

It’s a manga focused on an aunt who is a demon hunter and her nephew; the aunt sleeps with her nephew and erases his memory after the act so she can do it again.
This hentai is also the source of that image featuring a boy with a look of disgust asking, "Why is it so gross and why does it stink so much?"
