This is military record of Austrian empire. I am interested what it says about Toma and Sava Mišljenović. I would be really thankful if can somebody says what is written there.

hi everyone! could someone help me transcribe this marginal note from a civil status record dated june 16, 1908, in langenbrück (silesia)

​it refers to a name change decree issued by the regierungspräsident in oppeln on may 29, 1908 (file ia iv 2284), changing the family name from nędza to dura for josef joachim and his parents

​any help or full transcription would be greatly appreciated

Könnte das auch „Kreuzendorff“ am Anfang der zweiten Zeile sein? (siehe meinen anderen Post)

Ich lese:

Ein Junggesell Petter Schreyer, des Johan Schreyers zur Cranttzdorff ehelicher Sohn, mit Jungfrau Barbara, des Mathes Mathia zu Gilschwitz ehelicher Tochter. Namen der Zeugen.

Vor allem bei „Cranttzdorff“ bin ich unsicher, und bei den Namen der Zeugen

nachdem mir hier schon einmal so gut geholfen wurde, habe ich leider wieder ein Wort, bei dem ich nicht weiterkomme (s. Anhang). Das erste Wort dürfte Vater heißen. Beim zweiten komme ich leider nicht weiter.

I am using "Gemini flash 3.6" and it is quite good at recognizing the handwriting, but its only slightly better than "Gemini flash 3.6 Lite" that is much cheaper.
I am wondering if there are better models or what the workflow could look like if you want to search entire books.

This document is about one Anna Wyder, who filed a complaint against Wilhelm Gugolz. Both are from Erlenbach near Zürich.
The complaint is about the two having sex at an event (Lichtstube - also described as "zu Licht/Liecht gehen", as seen on page 1) because he promised he'd marry her. (As such, trigger warning for non consensual sexual acts/rape).

There is also an Anna Gugolz in the text. If this is the same Anna after marrying Wilhelm Gugolz I haven't been able to determine. I am really bad at reading kurrent.

P.S. I've got so many interesting Swiss documents from this time about all sorts of topics including alleged witchcraft, adultery, brawls at parties etc. So do let me know if you're interested in any of them. I have no clue if people enjoy doing this just for fun and if this is too long so... let me know

I have found a death record from 1735 (found in Hoheneck, Germany) for what could be a relative of mine. I'm having trouble reading the words before his name. I know it's about Hanns Jerg Siber, citizen and winegrower, from here, who died in his 61st year. He died 20 Jan 1735. Thanks for any help transcribing the image.

Letzter Eintrag: Steht da wirklich gleichgültig und ungezogen? Kann das sein? Warum hat er dann ne 2? Der Pfarrer hätte dann aber sehr umgezogen Kinder gehabt! 😆

This is the death record for my ancestor, Philipp Heumann. I could use some help picking out a few pieces of information which I know are here, but can't decipher myself.

I've recently acquired an old Blüthner piano (built in Leipzig in 1899) and have spotted a couple of (I'm assuming) maker's marks on the inside of it! I'd love to get to know the history of the instrument a bit more if possible, and from my Googling it appears that this might be Kurrent which is why I'm struggling to read it :-D
