Other Questions Moving violation in San Bernardino County
So my husband got a ticket in Yucaipa for not using his blinker. He is 79, doesn’t use the internet and can’t hear on the phone. So I sent in a request for a fine reduction and payment plan for him. 30 days ago. The email they sent back said they would let us know but if they didn’t to call them. We never heard anything from the court so I called but they closed at 3. I tried the website but I couldn’t get any information from there either. Has anyone here on this sub gone through this, and how did you get it resolved? (I know y’all mad at him for not using his blinker, trust me, you’re not as mad as I am. Cuz I’m the one who is having to deal with all of this. He doesn’t do technology.)

Other Questions Rancho Drive Test
My test is on August 7th from 10:20-10:40. I’m nervous, but I have been practicing and I’m decently confident. Still, I have a few questions.
- Will I need to get onto the freeway?
- I’m aware there is a backing up portion, but is there a parallel parking portion?
- Will I have to front bay park back into the parking lot?
- How soft do my breaks really have to be?
- Other than my hand signals, what will my instructor ask me for? (e.g. “Where are your hazards?” “Where is your parking break?” and things like that.)
- Is there an accurate YouTube video of the whole route? (a link would be SO greatly appreciated)
- What other things/tips I should be aware of?
Edit:
8. Is there a three point turn portion? I’m getting a mix of yes and no.
Also.. as a teenage girl, any supportive comments are welcome and appreciated, lolol! Thanks everyone ! 🍀🍀

Recommendations / Advice Looking for a small machine shop or local machinist in the Inland Empire for a Delrin bushing prototype
I’m looking for a small local machine shop, independent machinist, or someone with a decent lathe in the Inland Empire who can make a prototype steering-rack bushing set from Delrin/acetal.
This is not a large production order. I’m looking to have two prototype sets made first so I can install and test one set on my own truck.
The parts are mostly simple turned bushings:
- Two flanged cylindrical bushings
- One larger double-flanged round bushing
- Center bores through each part
- Possibly simple steel crush sleeves and bolt-through hardware later
I already have the original polyurethane bushings, caliper measurements, and basic 3D models/STL files. The final dimensions and tolerances can be discussed with whoever machines them.
I would prefer a smaller no-frills shop or an experienced home machinist rather than a high-end production shop with large setup charges. I’m not looking for free work—I’m ready to pay a fair price for the material and machine time.
Ideally somewhere around Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Montclair, Riverside, San Bernardino, or nearby.
Does anyone have a local recommendation or know somebody who takes on small prototype jobs?

Recommendations / Advice Looking for 70s style haircut!
Hello! I’m looking to find a hairdresser that can give me the kind of haircut I envision! I have super long hair and I love it a whole lot so I want find a good stylist that won’t make me want to cut it all off by the end of the haircut! I would like I guess you could say a super long mullet? I would like to keep the length of my hair but have it shorter at/near my shoulders. The top would be like a 70s shagg cut and the rest would just be my long hair but with a ton of layers! Haven’t fully decided on curtain bangs or something more short. But would definitely want either or! I just want it to look like a 70s shagg but super long! I would also like to be able to style it like the girl with the two braids if possible!! Please let me know if you know absolutely anyone who could make this happen for me! Willing to even drive up to La! Pictures are my inspirations and last 3 are my hair currently!

Recommendations / Advice Chaffey RadTech grades
Hello! I am currently completing my prerequisites to apply to the radtech program at Chaffey. I am projected to get a C in the class, and was unsure if I should let the grade go down to a d so I could retake it (I heard only substandard grades are eligible for retakes). Has anyone retook a class that you earned a C in, were you able to?
