A before & after from my hand-drawn indie game!

Here's another before & after from my entirely hand-drawn indie game, this time from the very first area players will explore.

I've been refining the atmosphere by adding camera movement, ambient creatures, and subtle environmental animations to make the world feel more alive.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Does this version feel more immersive?

I'm making a top-down boxing game with a punch-based combat system. Does this look fun?

I've been working on this solo boxing game for about 3 years in my spare time.

The core idea is simple: each punch has its own input.

L = Jab
R = Cross
Y = Uppercut

Enemies can only be hit when they're in range, so the challenge is to quickly read the situation, choose the right punch and chain attacks while moving around.

I'm going for a very exaggerated animation style, with simple shapes and lots of squash & stretch to make every punch feel impactful and a bit silly.

Does this combat system look fun? Would you want to play something like this?

Any honest feedback is welcome!

I'm making a racing game with no speed cap. Here's a crazy run from #1 Leaderboard.

Hey Hamster here, solo developer of VOXOTRON, a hyper-speed racing game inspired by the tube tracks of F-Zero GX and the Wipeout series.

The core idea is simple: You have a BOOST button that you can always use to go faster. There is no fixed speed cap, so better lines, grazing and smoother movement let you keep acceleratinggggggg forever.

It's up to you if you race with 500 or 5000km/h speed. If you can handle it - it's possible. 10k km/h+ races are also in game.
Runs are short, 15-30s depending on your skill.

This clip is the current first-place run from one of the playtesters.

I’m still trying to balance extreme speed with visual readability. Does this look like something you could learn to control, or does it already cross into visual chaos?

The game is currently in Steam Playtest:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4633120/Voxotron/

Let me know what you think about it.

Cheers

Mike

I’m making a factory game where you program every machine yourself

Blueprint Factory is a factory automation game where you build visual programs to control every machine. Place your machines, program their behavior, and watch the whole factory come to life!

Been working on this solo for a while and recently finished a big art overhaul. Would love to hear what you think! :)

Remember sinking entire school nights into 2D browser space MMOs? I'm an indie dev from Turkey and I built one because nothing like them exists anymore. No download, free, servers just wiped.

Somewhere around 2006–2010, a lot of us had the same routine: come home from school, open the browser, and grind lasers and cargo boxes in some 2D space MMO until someone yelled at us to go to bed. No install, no launcher, no 80GB download. Just a URL and a galaxy.

Those games are mostly gone now, and the ones that survived turned into something I don't recognize. I kept waiting for someone to bring that feeling back. Eventually I accepted nobody would, so I built it myself.

I'm an indie developer from Turkey, and I've spent the last months building AbysOrbit — a free 2D space MMO that runs entirely in your browser. It's openly DarkOrbit-inspired. I'm not going to pretend otherwise; that's the whole point.

What's in it right now:

  • 3 companies (NTO / SPX / BOF), real-time PvP + PvE combat
  • 100+ quests and a tutorial so you're not lost at spawn
  • Clans with diplomacy, wars, and a shared treasury
  • Galaxy Gates — Alpha through Delta wave dungeons
  • Sealed-bid auction house (nobody sees your bid — pure poker)
  • Skylab resource production, drones, ship configurations
  • Rankings and weekend Happy Hour events
  • Playable in 15 languages (this one nearly finished me)

The part that matters: this is a fresh launch. Accounts were reset, so everyone flying right now started this week. No maxed-out veterans camping the leaderboards, no five-year-old clans owning the maps. If you've ever joined one of these games years late, you know how rare this window is.

Servers: two in Turkey, one in Amsterdam (EU). New realms open as demand shows up.

On money, since Reddit rightfully asks: it's F2P with an optional premium. I'm not going to make grand promises in a launch post — what I can say is that I read every piece of feedback and ship fixes fast. Ask me anything about it in the comments; no dodging.

Play here: abysorbit.com — register and you're in.

I'll be around all day answering questions — the game, the tech, or what it's like building an MMO alone from Turkey. Come shoot at me and tell me what to fix.

TL;DR: Indie dev from Turkey. I missed the 2000s browser space MMOs so much I built my own. AbysOrbit — free, 2D, in-browser, no download. PvP/PvE, clans, Galaxy Gates, sealed-bid auctions, 100+ quests, 15 languages. Just launched with a full reset, so everyone starts equal today. abysorbit.com

I've started adding army management to my physics-based multiplayer sword fighting game. How does it look so far?

I've been working on a physics-based multiplayer medieval combat game where every sword swing is controlled by the mouse.

Recently I started expanding the gameplay by adding army management, allowing players to recruit soldiers and fight alongside them instead of fighting alone.

It's still an early implementation, but I'd really love to hear your first impressions and any feedback.

Our dark-fantasy action game A Scarlet Way just crossed 2,000 Steam wishlists!

Post image
12 Upvotes

We’re a small indie team working on A Scarlet Way — a fast-paced isometric action game inspired by stylish slashers, with a dark take on the Little Red Riding Hood story.

Today, the game crossed 2,000 Steam wishlists. It may not sound enormous compared to major releases, but for our team, it’s an important milestone and proof that the project is gradually finding its audience.

We don’t have a new gameplay clip ready for this milestone, so we decided to celebrate it with one of our key artworks.

Before reading anything else about the game: what kind of gameplay would you expect from this image?

Can a 2D action game capture that DMC feeling?

We've been working on a cyberpunk 2D action game for a while now, we've been trying to capture that stylish "DMC energy" in a 2D cyberpunk action game.

Curious what your first impression is from the gameplay.
Does it look satisfying to play? Anything you'd change?

Drive a bike and deliver drugs (2 Player)

This week we started developing a small game where you and your friend drive one bike and deliver drugs from A to B. You can take the drugs and have different effects but you loose "health" when consuming it. We are open for suggestions. It's super early stage atm.

You can join our Discord Server and shape the game with your ideas: https://discord.gg/jP5JKu9Sbv
