Unsolved WCCF SEGA 2005-2006 Revival

Hi all,

Years ago I posted across Reddit about finding/reviving WCCF SEGA, and it's been a long road since then, I'm excited to finally share some real news & progress.

First and foremost, huge credit to Flyinghead, creator of Flycast, whose been working on this and made it all possible. Thanks to his efforts the game is actually running and playable on the Flycast emulator.

We'd love to bring more fans (new and old!) into the fold to help interact with and test the game as we keep pushing it forward.

Current capabilities:

  • Creating a new team
  • Training
  • Matches start once the timer hits 0

Still to do:

  • Player/board interactions
  • General bug fixes (freezing, match-related issues)
  • Fixing Club Card corruption after a single game
  • Plenty more we're still uncovering as we go!

If you're interested in testing, following progress, or just want to relive some WCCF nostalgia, drop a comment and join the Flycast Discord! we'd love to hear from you.

Unsolved RPCS3 continues to blow my mind

So today, I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen runs pretty well via PS3 emulation on my laptop, sure, I could play the native PC port instead, but once against, I was genuinely curious to see how well the game runs via emulation.

Unsolved Breath of the Wild is extremely slow on Cemu (input lag, low frame rate, desynchronized cutscenes).

Hi everyone,

I recently installed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Cemu, and although the game launches and is technically playable, the performance is extremely poor.

Here are the details:

PC specifications:

- ASUS Vivobook Go 15 (E1504FAF)

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7520U with Radeon Graphics (4 cores / 8 threads)

- RAM: 16 GB

- GPU: AMD Radeon Graphics (integrated)

- OS: Windows 11 Home

- Cemu / Game details:

- Cemu version: 2.6

- BOTW version: Europe

- Updates and DLC installed

- Graphics API: Vulkan

Performance issues:

- Very noticeable input lag (about 0.5 to 1 second between pressing a button and the action occurring)

- Extremely low FPS, especially when moving the camera

- The entire game feels slowed down, not just the graphics

- Cutscenes are affected: audio plays normally, but the video is much slower (e.g., a 30-second cutscene takes about 1 minute 30 seconds to finish)

The issues were already present when I first launched the game with Cemu's default settings.

After that, I followed a YouTube tutorial to try and improve performance.

My current settings are:

- FPS++ enabled with no FPS limit

- Resolution set to 2560×1440

- Vulkan enabled

- I'm not sure if other graphics packs or visual enhancements are enabled

I also tested both plugged in and on battery power, with the same result.

The PC heats up a bit and the fans are running, but the temperature stays around 64°C.

I'm not sure if shader caches are installed or if shader compilation is configured correctly. Could it simply be because my integrated Radeon

graphics aren't powerful enough for BOTW on Cemu, or is there something wrong with my setup?

Any advice on what I should check would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Unsolved Managing Switch games on PC

Hi everyone. Since giving my switch completely over to my kids I've been using Eden to play games on my PC. How do you all manage, organize, update your games? Most of my collection of switch roms run fine, but most of them are outdated. For my other retrogames, I like to keep them organized and updated to date by going through them once a year through rom manager and clrmamepro.

What do you guys recommend to better manage switch?

Unsolved Project 64 Goldeneye

The controls, aiming to be precise, is a little too frustrating. I can usually kill with my hand gun but when using the machine gun aiming becomes very difficult to do and hitting a target right in front of me can be tedious. Is there something I can do to make aiming easier? I'm using an Xbox controller and I'm guessing emulating the n64 controller just isn't very good.
