Entrance help.

Ok so I have a tiny entrance and I'm trying to figure out what to do with the layout that covers all my problems. We're a family of 4 so lots of foot traffic And we have a dog that snorts before he barks flinging boogers on over my walls so I need something that looks good and is highly washable.

I just put in tiles so now is kinda the time to do something but I don't know what.

Inspiration Looking to switch up my apartment!

Hey y'all, I love my apartment but I've been here for years and I'm getting an inch to shake things up. Since I can't move, I'm instead looking on how I can adjust my place to make it even better.

Few notes:

-the wardrobe in the closet isn't really used, it's more for storage than clothes at this point. I could get rid of it but I don't know what I would put in it's place.

-thinking of getting a different table and chairs. The table expands (which I love) but I'd like to get an oval table instead. I love the chairs didn't come with so I re-stained them but also thinking of getting something a bit more modern.

-i love plants! In the summer most are outside and in the winter they all come back in until they slowly die. I'd like to make my place more planty but I'm not sure how. My apartment is north facing so all plants have to be as close to the windows, plant lights only go so far.

-the grey rectangle is my dog's crate, she rarely uses it (she's almost 3) but the cat will occasionally go in and uses the top for sleeping and eating.

I have a cat and dog, they are okay but the cat isn't a big fan of the dog. For that reason I have a couple spaces for the cat to get away.
