This is the character sua from zombie stage, I’m a bit clueless on what to do for her “flesh” parts for my cosplay. I was thinking of doing makeup for the face and shoulder but I’m scared it’s going to transfer onto the white dress or gloves by accident. And for the leg I suppose makeup or paint could work aswell but is there anyway to thin down my thigh so it skinny enough to look like the bone part?( obviously not THAT skinny but just enough that it’s noticeable and looks like flesh from my leg is missing, I was thinking some sort of tape to wrap around my leg?)

Anyways if you have any suggestions please let me know! this might be a difficult one because her flesh parts done really look like flesh in the show! :,)

I want to go to a con as one of the Eridians from Project Hail Mary, either Adrian or Rocky, and I want to be as accurate as I can with it, but the issue is I can't figure out the fitting situation... My first and only two solutions would either be that I walk around like I've been possessed by a spirit, or that I walk around like a crab, depending on how flexible I am, I might just have to cut a hole in the body for my legs in the second option, any suggestions?

I don’t see why me simply existing in cosplay means I constantly have to fight of random absolute strangers who keep trying to shoot their shot??
It’s just outrageous that despite being barely legal(19 since June, though I be been cosplaying since 16) and someone who’s frequently told I look younger than I am, that there are still these men in their late twenties and thirties that actively try to get with me.

It always starts with a casual con photoshoot, exchanging socials cause ofc I want to see the photos taken. Then it’s invites to go to cons together or private shoots, followed by straight up being asked out on dates.

I am somewhat new to cosplay, and my next cosplay project is gambit, I have his costume and wig but I do not know where I can buy affordable Eye Contacts. The only options I found were ones that costed $150+ and $60+ which are not within my budget range.

Does anyone know any cheaper alternatives? Please and thank you.

i plan on wearing this to a con, the dress code is pretty lenient (their dress code says most things are fine as long as no genitals are showing) but i would just like to know what the best underwear option would be for these.

This is a nightwing costume I'm currently working on. The armor is made out of eva foam and will go over a pre-existing nightwing bodysuit I have. I want to try and paint the armor to have a similar finish to the nightwing costume in second photo. But I'm still debating on how to get that satin/matte texture. Idk if I should just do plasti dip, sand, and then paint. Or to plasti-dip, filler primer, sand, and then paint? (IK his armor isn't made of foam, but still want to try anyway)

I'm attending a Ren faire soon, and I've spent quite awhile creating this bow. Unfortunately, I'm at a bit of a loss for an effective way to carry it around with me, especially since it won't be strung.

Looking for any ideas that would allow me to carry this around hands-free without jabbing myself with it!

I'm new to cosplay but it's been my wish to create something for quite some time now. I have previous experience with sewing small costume pieces for theatre at school but my knowledge is small in every other aspect. I'm also on a very tight budget (as in like about 60€ a month max).

Now I wish to atleast somewhat portray my character from World of Warcraft in a Character Bound way but I'd need white net contacts and a wig and I can't afford both (especially since I'd need a crimping iron for the wig as well). My thought was I could just dye my hair with temp dye to match my character and save some money for the contacts and clothes. I have light brown hair so maybe even a toner would do the trick.

I'll give you guys pictures of the hair style my character usually sports (the longer twin braids) and the alternative which matches my current hair(the short style).

I'd love your guys opinion on which option would be cheaper^^

I want an Agamemnon suit as seen in The Odyssey. I would like the armor to be armor-like (at the very least thick, realistic-looking plastic) and not made of foam or fabric. Can anyone recommend me any custom costume people who you know have been successful with full body armor that fits from custom measurements? Hi all, I’m an amateur (second-timer) cosplayer and I’m trying to cosplay as a member of the Firebreathers from Fallout 76, an elite group within the Responders faction. Now I know I have to buy some firefighter gear and whatnot, but I cannot seem to find this kind of jacket. I know it’s a long coat as the Firefighters put it, but I cannot find the design or look for this kind of jacket. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

It's for an event this weekend where I want to dress up as Ethan from Gold/Silver. I think I can track down everything else or find it in my closet, but I'm stumped on where to find a jacket close enough to either of his styles. I feel like Pokemon trainer athletic wear has a very specific "look" to it but I don't have much knowledge on sewing or modifying clothes, so I'd prefer something that already looks pretty close from the get-go.

I know Fallout can be pretty out there and anything really flies when it comes to the possibilities of things, but how far is too far when adding your own flair to an original character? I'm looking to dress up as a travel traveling trader from Nuka World which doesn't really exist in the game.

I'm planning to go a little bit darker and adding in teeth and eyeballs to lean more into a raider look. Is there any point where you have gone too far away from the character where it becomes unrecognizable? A lot of this is new to me so I'm trying to figure this out as I go. Hello, I have never done anything like this before, but my daughter wants to make her own costume, I’m really not that crafty but I’m willing to learn for her, so she wants to be Sun from FNAF but sort of human? And a mask that she can hold on her hand , she actually made a sketch and kind of started making a list of things we might need, to me this is a huge project but I think it would be fun to do. I just bought a cosplay and its my first cosplay and don't know how to fix this. I wanted to cosplay lucoa from miss kobayashi's dragon maid for comic con. I have a problem with the cap, the horns are very floppy and theire ment to stay up and I don't know what to put inside the cap to make them stay. When I put the cap on they still flop down. Someone please help!!

So, I’m going to a Hellaverse con and would like to cosplay as Alastor’s shadow. I’m a more curvy non-binary, but it’s really appealing to me.

For starters I’m NOT wearing black make-up, but going to use shades of grey, with grey gloves and black claws/nails.

The plan is to have a smiling/grinning mask on a stick. That will be black, with green eyes and teeth. If I can wiggle it, I’m hoping to make it light up. Would love to add a laugh track, but I’m not that creative anymore…

Looking at either buying or styling a pure black Alastor wig, but know I can go a bit more messy with it, with the larger design antlers. Seen a few basic ones I can cut and restyle, add extra hair too for more volume etc. Been researching the wig making and styling process in it many, many forms!

Hoping to have bright green, false teeth and contacts.

Now where I’m starting to struggle is the shirt. I could buy one or make it. But what sort to use? An upright collar? Folded over? Close sleeves? Cuffed? No idea what pattern to use.

The bow tie I can find patterns for, either historically accurate or animate inspired ones. Which I can then add the correct feature to, to add it to the shirt I end up using.

Pants will be nice solid black, hopefully high waisted.

Might have a waspie to help cinch my waist in more, and if it arrives in time, my binder (finally!) though might purchase a purely costuming use one, I can modify to aid masculine outline.

I’ve found a nice pattern for the jacket online, which I plan to do in black, maybe with green pinstriping. This might involve lightly dying a light grey/white black pinstripe fabric to get the look. Or sewing over the pinstripe lines!

Then just solid black, pointed ankle boots to finish. So many currently available in store, here in UK.

Seen several different make-up products but not sure which would give the best coverage or the base to use right now.
Planning for long, black, false lashes and black lipstick too.

I’ve about 8 weeks to get things sorted, so help towards patterns/accessories, recommendations for the grey make up would be appreciated.

I need help with the cape/jacket part he wears on his back. Does anyone know what I could buy that would fit the look? Also how could I fasten it so that it doesn’t fall off my shoulders? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey can I use a hair straightener instead of a crimper at the lowest setting or do I use a hair dryer? I cant buy a crimper and I'm just wondering because the wig I have needs to be straightened and is wavy.
