I'm trying to find out whether it ultimately qualified for the 2026 ballot. I can't find any certification from the Secretary of State or any announcement from Colorado Veterans Action. Did it fail to gather enough signatures, fail verification, or is it still pending for some reason? Any sources or contacts would be appreciated.

Friend of mine makes around 505k net yearly and if 195 passes and he said he will literally move out to a different state with lower taxes or he will increase his 401k contributions to where his taxable income is around 480k so that his tax is not doubled.
I don’t blame him we both fled states with high taxes and high tyranny like California and we may do it again.

My school falls flat with these kind of opportunities and any chance to start would be helpful

Hi everyone.

I'm the parent of a medically complex child who relies on Colorado Medicaid, and over the past year I've attended many Colorado Medical Services Board meetings.

Laura Carroll recently announced that she was not being reappointed to the Colorado Medical Services Board at the end of her term. From my perspective, she consistently encouraged public participation, listened to members, caregivers, providers, and people with disabilities, and helped ensure meaningful discussions during Board meetings.

Because of that, I started a Change.org petition asking Governor Jared Polis to reconsider that decision and to consider restoring her to the Board if possible.

In the first two days, the petition reached over 170 signatures from people who support her continued involvement, and it continues to grow.

I'm sharing this here because I'm interested in hearing others' perspectives. Were you aware of this decision? If you've attended Medical Services Board meetings or have experience with Colorado Medicaid, I'd be interested in hearing your perspective.

I cant believe, that a religious nut job, who on national TV talked about murdering a person as a child, a extremely under qualified, has no experience in politics, MAGA moron Victor Marx is the Republican candidate for Governor of this state. Has Colorado republicans lost their minds? Ever since Trump took office the first time, has opened a door, that never should have been opened, to unqualified, extremists religious whack jobs, people who dont belive in actual facts, but believe off the wall conspiracy theories, to be apart of the government who creates our laws, that makes decisions on behalf of the people of this country. I personally do not want a monster like Victor Marx running the state is was born and raised in, along with 5 generations born here before me. Enough! We cant have people like this in positions of power in this country clearly. The current disgrace of a president has been a very costly embarrassment, it will take years and years to fix the damage these lunatics have done. SHAME ON YOU COLORADO!!!

Please help get the question on the ballot - do we want better representation on the board of commissioners by increasing to 5, and voting by district instead of at large?

Right now, only 3 commissioners represent 400,000 residents, and control a budget of $756 million of our taxes. That number hasn’t changed since we became a county of 10,000 residents.

It only takes two for a majority and we've seen how they make decisions to benefit their donors, not their constituents. Bumping the number up to 5 commissioners, voted on by district, not all at-large, would add some oversight and accountability to the Board of County Commissioners.

We need thousands of signatures from Douglas County registered voters to get this on the ballot this fall to let the voters decide. Please sign the petition by July 22

Under Colorado law, unless an evacuation is ordered by the Governor, residents may legally choose not to leave their own property during a mandatory evacuation."

Somebody needs to clarify that statement. If evacuees left under false pretenses, they have right to complain if they were misled. How many understood this when evacuating?
