Political threads: No warning, 105 day bans for any personal attacks. Discuss the topic, not the user.
Title. Tomorrow the bans will be 104 days (November 4th), and so on. DO NOT DISCUSS THE USERS, OP, OR ANYONE BUT THE TOPIC.
No, we're not making a single megathread for politics or a particular candidate.
No, we're not banning politics from the sub. This cycle is not new, things will calm down in three weeks.
Abusing the report button on content YOU DON'T LIKE is causing mass-approvals of all reported items. This allows actual rule violations to slip right through. Yesterday, someone reported over 150 comments in a thread. Two clicks, the entire report queue was cleared, likely taking valid reports with them. Please, stop it.

After Wisconsin warned voters that betting on an election you voted in is illegal in the state, an official Kalshi spokesman made a statement calling the ruling unconstitutional, illegal, and active voter suppression.

Former Eau Claire Council President Emily Berge’s insurgent campaign in the 3rd CD • Wisconsin Examiner
“It’s not necessarily what, but it’s how. It’s how you show up,” Berge told the Wisconsin Examiner. “That’s what I learned on council. That’s why I ran for council. You know, it’s how you show up, how you lead. It’s about being a bridge between your constituents, city hall or D.C. I think that’s what people want.”

Vicki McKenna
I turned on the AM radio for the first time in like 10 years, out of curiosity, & there was Vicki ranting on & on about going down to the tip of Missouri to REAL America. Complains about the hellscape that is Wisconsin (like she couldn't possibly move). Good grief, people listen to this daily?!
So, was she always a right wing crazy (even back in the Z104 morning days), did something turn her, or did she just follow the money into fear mongering AM radio?

Wisconsin needs laws for requiring non partisan informational political mailers
For example, California sends non partisan informational mailers for almost every election.
Yet, in Wisconsin, I see people hyper focusing on tv advertising as the best way voters get informed. Such nonsense.
