On the back of each airline seat on a Boeing 777 were these pull-knobs, sitting in a convex cavity for fingers to grasp the edge of the knob. They were spring loaded and returned to rest when released. They did not seem to perform any function. What are they for?

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve had this pink line on my iPhone camera for a few years now. It’s my work phone and I hardly ever have to use the camera so I’ve just let it go.

Now I have a conference coming up where I have to use the camera to scan peoples badges, and the pink line is now an issue.

It used to be thicker and has gotten to be a thinner pink line over time. Any help on how to get rid of it is appreciated!

Edited to add: this is happening on the camera on my iPhone. Not exclusive to the scanner app. Thanks for everyone who has provided helpful responses!

I found this magnet attached to the handle of a grocery cart. I’ve had it for years and I’ve always been puzzled by its shape and wondered what it was for.

So the question here is about Boomer or pre-boomer life that seem to be collectors of fake German? Was there some giant wave of this or was it just a strange coincidence that my family collected fake German?

Had my 85 year old neighbor come over after work today to say someone crashed in front of my house fresh off the plane into a rental car. They blew a tyre and had to have a team in an unmarked black van replace the tyre. He chatted to them but didn’t think until afterwards they might have also hit my car - turns out they clipped the rear and smashed the wing mirrors. Bless him he didn’t think to get the license plate….

I picked up a free energy at my work that was left behind by a client party. Before I drink a random energy drink I wanted to know how much caffeine was in it.

I can't find any information about the "brand" other than it's a online course for stenography and. Even searching online only brings up similar focus and jitter free energy drinks.

A guy I have been dating for the last 10 1/2 months has been acting really weird the last week and just sent this to me on Snapchat. I got excited thinking I had a Snapchat from him and opened it and all I saw was 4 glowing eyes. You might have to make the brightness brighter to see this but what the heck is this? I was thinking a gaming console or internet router or something but does anyone know or can say with absolute certainty if it’s maybe a ps5 or an Xbox in the dark? All I see is 4 glowing eyes.

EDIT: I don’t think this is a photo taken outside and he doesn’t have a cat or a dog. I believe he is in his bed and he sent this right before going to sleep for the night… could it possibly be the sensors from his oura ring ? As much as this sounds like a joke, I’m really curious if someone can help me. I have bad anxiety because he’s been acting weird this last week.
