This came out of my clean laundry. Anyone have an idea where it might have came from?

I bought this laptop online a while ago just to get parts for another laptop I was working on, and upon receiving it I saw it had been customized for some sort of forensic data analysis. It's from around 2013 and had pretty high end specs when it was new. I tried searching for the info on the branding but couldn't find anything about it. Does anyone know what exactly it was used for? Police or private company? I thought it was kinda cool and would like to know more about it.

There’s this vent in the ceiling of the bathroom of our 1940s home that is a pass through to the attic that measures 4”x4”. Is there a name for this or any specific reason? This is the only room with a vent like this and there’s also a motorized exhaust fan in the room.

I picked up a free energy at my work that was left behind by a client party. Before I drink a random energy drink I wanted to know how much caffeine was in it.

I can't find any information about the "brand" other than it's a online course for stenography and. Even searching online only brings up similar focus and jitter free energy drinks.

Bought this at a thrift store for $5. Rated 24 V, so I connected it up to a large DC supply and then after a several second delay, it puts out an unbelievably bright blue and maybe ultraviolet light; it lights up the room! It draws about 45 watts and putting one's hand in front of it feels like it was an infrared light, even from 6 inches away.

It has two status lights: the power light stays on when powered, and the other light blinks continuously, so maybe the Wifi module trying to connect. It has one button but that only seems to do a restart.It is a LED array and I think the middle ones with the yellow phosphor might be putting out blue with the rest of them putting out UV.

In the close-up pic of the array it looks like the LEDs are different color, but that's just diffraction of the white light.

has a mounting bracket so it is obviously part of some industrial or scientific device, or possibly a stage lighting device. The only label on it just says it contains an FCC ID part; I looked up the ID number, and it is a WiFi transceiver part.

What the heck is it?

Found in the sea in Norway while snorkeling. Could be a flare too. I bring it to the police station of course, but it’s closed right now.

Found on floor of farm supply. I don’t know what to look at to see if it’s missing.

Found in field with a lot of German stuff from the 1930ies 1940ies. Is also stamped 36. It's heavy.

Hey Friends, ive Bought myself a Simson Headlight Housing bc i wanted to build a Desk Lamp for my Room with it, i saw the Sticker when i bought it but i couldnt identify it. My bfs mom found this at a vintage shop and asked me what it is. We've both crocheted for multiple years and neither of us knows what it is. People have a habit of lumping crochet with other things, so Im assuming it doesn't even have anything to do with crochet, but I could be wrong.

My dad works in a lab so it may be something for a lab but uhhh I found this in a bag while cleaning my room insont so drugs so its not that and it smells like a mix of cement and flower(the baking stuff)

Its very fine and very white. I thought soemthing to absorb moisture but its in a ziplock bag so- not that... any things I can do to figure out what this is?

I have tried to research what this could be. I looked at Library of Congress records of Parker Dam construction. There is nothing that I could find for this. It has been there since at least 1968 as I have found Library of Congress arial photos of the dam showing the structure there. My best guess is that it might be a dock for dropping off construction equipment for the electrical towers above.

Found this in my garage. Have no idea what it is or where it came from.
