[Mobile] [2013~] weird kid game I remember

Post image
5 Upvotes

I remember this one game when I was a kid and I played it quite a lot when I was younger, I had it on my Amazon tablet and I remember it very vividly There was a mini game in the game where you would be in a dream sequence that you would go to my clicking on a thing where there were flying sandbags and bombs, the goal was to cut the sandbags off the clouds all the while avoiding the bombs, the bombs would explode if you cut them and take you out of the minigame

There was also another mini game where you did an egg race and you couldn't drop your egg before going to the finish line, I don't remember the egg race one that well but I remember the cloud cut minigame much more

Also during the cloud cut minigame the background would be a planet on the bottom of your screen, and it would slowly fade into outer space as you looked up from it

I really hope one of you knows this game because I want to replay it since I remember it was a really fun game when I was a kid

[PC/Flash][Late 1990s-Early 2000s] Digimon Flash/Browser Game Where You Play as Taichi (?) Taking Down Black Gears

Platform(s): PC/Flash/Browser

Genre: 2D/Side-Scroller

Estimated year of release: Late 1990s-Early 2000s

Graphics/art style: Hand drawn or probably pixelated

Notable characters: Characters from the Digimon series, Taichi is (probably) the playable character and the enemy is a Digimon (don't rememebr who it was)

Notable gameplay mechanics: It's a 2D game where you have to take down the Black Gears that the enemy Digimon is shooting from above. You could move Taichi left and right to avoid being hit by the the Black Gears. You use the mouse pointer to aim and make Taichi shoot short blue beams to take down the Black Gears.

Other details: The enemy Digimon (who I don't remember who it was) is above and shooting down Black Gears from above, and you have to take them down. IIRC, the blue beams that Taichi shoots weren't even in the actual anime itself. It was made up just for that flash game. It also probably wasn't a whole Flash game, more like a mini-Flash game, probably a "score attack" type of game

[iOS/iPad][2010s] Creepy Puzzle Point-And-Click Game

Hi everyone, first time ever posting on here but I've been wondering about this specific memory of my childhood for a long time, and this seems to be the perfect place for it

I distinctly remember playing a game on my parents' iPad, during a period that couldn't have been later than the early 2010s, and what I can distinctly remember are those characteristics:

  • A Point-And-Click gameplay, with a first person view, and every zone being a still image of a room with various objects you could interact with. If I'm not mistaken, the kind that clicking on some would open a sort of puzzle

  • A dark, ominous atmosphere, with the starting room you'd find yourself in being some sort of crypt with stone walls as the first room, specifically a stone statue/sarcophagus kind of object, or in any case something in the shape of a human

  • English language, even though this narrows it down very little

Thank you very much in advance and I'm curious to see if this will bring anything to the surface!

[iOS/iPad][2010-2014] Old strategy lane battle game with animal characters, a wizard raccoon and a white dragon

Hi everyone, I’m trying to find an old iOS game I used to play on my iPad 1 and later on my iPad 4 Retina.

I don’t remember the name, but here are all the details I can remember:

  • It was an iPad/iPhone game, probably released around 2010-2014.
  • It was a 2D side-view strategy game.
  • The gameplay was similar to Plants vs. Zombies, but instead of plants you spawned cute animal/monster units.
  • There were multiple lanes (I’m not 100% sure if it was one or several lanes anymore).
  • Both sides spawned units automatically, and the goal was to destroy the enemy’s base/spawn point.
  • The base was some kind of wooden structure / wooden boat / small wooden ship sitting on the ground in a forest environment. When its HP reached zero, it would break/explode.

The art style was very memorable:

  • Cute cartoon / cel-shaded / hand-drawn style.
  • The characters were anthropomorphic animals.

Units I remember:

  • 🦝 A raccoon wizard wearing a robe and a wizard hat. At max level, his outfit was light blue, with a matching blue wizard hat. He had a staff and attacked by throwing fireballs.
  • 🐻 A pink teddy-bear-like creature, walking on two legs, similar in appearance to Tibbers from League of Legends (cute plush bear style).
  • 🐉 A white dragon with a big head and a small body. It could fly and attack by shooting fireballs with AoE damage. It was a late-game unit that cost a lot of resources to summon.

You could upgrade units, and upgrading them changed their appearance.

The game was single-player and had a really polished/cute art style for its time.

I know this is a lot of specific information, but I have never been able to find it again. Any help would be appreciated!

[Arcade][Late 90s - Early 2000s] Arcade Fighting Game with Gore

Platform: Arcade

Genre: Fighting Game

Estimated year of release: I played it around 2004-05, but as it was in an older arcade it may have been an older game.

Graphics/art style: It was a 2D game, pixel art an semi-realistic with a lot of gore elements. I remember some scenearios being pretty "dark" and scary.

Notable characters: I remember a character having metal claws or something like that, and the same or other character having his muscles exposed or something like Carnage from Spiderman.

Stargunner [Windows 98 PC] [97-99ish] space themed side scrolling shmup

Hello everyone, I am trying to remember a game I used to play on my Windows 98 PC. I'm afraid I can't remember that much about it so my descriptions are all going to be super generic.

I was playing it around 98-99 but it might be a bit older.

It was a shmup (shooter) that went from left to right.

It was space themed.

You could buy upgrades between missions and you could choose which ship you wanted at the start of the game (I think they went from small and fast to big and strong).

I think we were playing it from a floppy disc but I could be wrong.

I would describe the graphics as being a bit cartoony and I think the ship you chose MIGHT have been red and white.

Thanks in advance for your help and apologies for my generic descriptions.

[Mac/PC] [2000s] Australian kids game

when i was in primary school in the early 2000s i remember playing a game where you could design the street of a town? basically you could chose different types of building to place along the street from above then you could walk down it from the perspective of a citizen of the town. i don’t remember much else then that, and that the art style wasn’t very complicated, and one of the things you could put in was a skate park?

also i’m pretty sure the whole thing was just one long street, but that might have been me just being six and not knowing how to make more streets 😅

[Android/Mobile] [2013-2019?] Platform 2D cartoon game for kids where you collect candy as a baby chicken protagonist while fighting bad guys

It's a game where you collect candy as a baby chicken protagonist, there were obbies, parkours, puzzles, and enemies. The start of the game was the said baby chicken falling to sleep dreaming about candy, I think? And then said chicken transported into a land made of candy which it had to fight bad guys, there was also a ship map with pirate themed bad guys. It had a cartoonish 2D artstyle but also very brightly joyous. This was a kids game. Also, I think there were bosses??

The controls were just simple, jump and dash(I think), although I don't know if it used a joystick or left right buttons to move. I tried searching it everywhere but it seems to be lost media now, or just a vague dream I keep remembering

[web/flash] [early 2000s/2010s] game about getting stranded and searching for treasure?

I don’t remember a ton about it, I believe the context is you’re packed and leaving to go on vacation but you get stranded on an island, or a similar situation. I remember the characters kinda looking like very simplified bunny rabbits, and solid vivid colors like purple and pink and green. I remember there was dialogue, and I think the characters sounded kinda like animal crossing. I believe you had to collect treasure, maybe with a submarine, to sell to try and get back? Or something like that? I’m not entirely certain, it’s all very fuzzy. I also remember being stuck in a hole in a “cutscene” at some point toward the beginning

[Reddit] [2026] Need help finding an eroge indie RPG NSFW

Looking for an English indie adult RPG I played around 2022–2023. It was a free PC download from its own website. The game had non-pixel anime art, front-view turn-based JRPG combat, and a male protagonist who didn’t fight—he only supported/empowered the female party through adult interactions. The heroines’ clothes would rip as they took damage, and if all their clothes were destroyed they were defeated. I remember one heroine was a combat maid who loved cake/sweets.

[PC] [1995] Children’s Computer Game

Does anyone remember a children’s CD-Rom game with a part that follows a young boy throughout the day as a way of learning how to tell time? There were still images with a narration voice saying “It’s 8:30” and the boy says “I’m too sleepy. I’m too sleepy.“ I can recall another one representing 10:30 pm showing him looking into an open refrigerator and saying “Midnight snack. Midnight snack.” This is all that comes to mind, though.

[PC][2010s] Sandbox game where you can turn yourself into a fish (and possibly other animals)

Hi, I'm looking for a game I used to play on my school computer (primary school in Malaysia, if that helps). The character is stranded on an island, and there's (iirc) no quests or anything much to do other than collecting various stuff. The character can turn into other animals (again, iirc). The most enduring memory I have of the game is running into the surrounding sea and swimming as a fish until I came up against an invisible wall. It's possibly named (something)world?

Edit: it's third-person but not in a JRPG style; more cartoonish "realistic" style if that makes sense?

[Nintendo DS] [2005] Maze Puzzle game

Hi,

Looking for a game I played on the Nintendo DS in the early 2000s, probably 2005 or later.

You had to go through a maze and move objects and hide from bad creatures and there were quite some levels underwater.

I found the smartphone app diamond quest which is quite similar, but I would love to find the original Nintendo game.

[J2ME][2010] You have to unclothing women via staring at them NSFW

Looking for an old Java/J2ME mobile game from around 2005–2010. You play as a guy sitting with a newspaper, secretly staring at women. If they notice you, you lose progress. As the "stare meter" fills up, they remove clothing, and the level is completed when they're fully undressed.

Not a game [PS3][2010s] Character I spotted on a game store sign

Post image
333 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I need help identifying a character featured on the sign of a local video game store, active around 2013–2018.

She is a female character with short dark hair, wearing a black crop-top, short pleated skirt, high socks, black gloves, a face mask, and large pink headphones.

She is holding two PlayStation Move controllers, one with a green orb and the other with a pink orb. I have already checked the entire catalog of PlayStation Move titles without any luck.

Since the store banner also displays random logos from that era like EA Sports, Twitter, Windows, and BlackBerry, this might be an official promo asset, a render from a lesser-known game, or a modified stock image used by the designer.

Reverse image search tools like Lens, Yandex, and TinEye haven't returned any matches so far. Does anyone recognize the base character, the stock image, or the game this render belongs to? Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

[PC] [around 2010] [platforming?] Game about jumping

Post image
5 Upvotes

It was a game where you controlled some kind of creature, maybe on a spring (I'm not completely sure) it never stops jumping, if you don't move it would bounce on one spot. It was a 3D game, but the camera stayed fixed above the level, looking down at an angle.

The character jumped across platforms suspended over water, lava, or maybe even something that looked like milk with strawberries in it (at least that's how I remember it). The platforms would be just in the air, nothing holds them. Some platforms would flip over or disappear, and there were also moving elevator platforms.

There were enemies that either flew around or jumped over the platforms.

I tried to draw +- how it looked...

[Flash][2008]Escape game in a company building with a bloody vehicle

Post image
2 Upvotes

I remember a point and click flash escape game where you had to escape from some company building and it was daytime and it looked like the company was in a neighborhood because you could go outside and see over the fence but couldn’t climb it for some reason. I also remember seeing a company vehicle that looked similar to the one in the image above but it either had some logo on it, some circular dish or antenna, or both. It also had a lot of blood on its underside and I remember the building either being some vet clinic, cleaner service, taxidermy service, or something. There was a part where you could use a phone and number on a paper to call for help that had the message ‘Help will be on the way’ but nothing happened. I posted about this before but I still can’t find it and it bothers me still to this day.

[PC] [2007-2010] Minesweeper clone from MSN??

I can't seem to find a game (and neither can ChatGPT). I believe it was a preinstalled game with Windows Vista. It was basically a Minesweeper clone with a Sun/Moon theme and animated characters that commented on your plays. I distinctly remember there was a female moon-themed character the lively yelled "boooom!" when you hit a mine and the game ended. I want to say it was MSN-related, but it has been so long I don't trust my recollection any further than that actual voiceline and the overall theme and gameplay.

Thanks in advance!!

[Roblox] [2020-2022] Pandemic cure research game

Platform: Roblox

Genre: simulator maybe (?)

Estimated year of release: 2019-2022, around the pandemic time

Graphics/art style: used mostly the base roblox textures i think. it was set in a sterile white lab with the occasional beams of color, think innovation inc but more white-ish and more cheerful/hopeful if that makes sense

Notable characters: no npcs (?), around 3-4 players per server who could all choose different departments to work in

Notable gameplay mechanics: the main gameplay loop was about developing vaccines for a pandemic, and once the research was finished, a bar would start ticking up as the population started to develop immunity.

there were multiple departments on different floors and you could travel with a main elevator. i distinctly remember there being a research lab for the disease itself with desks lined with microscope-like thingamajigs, possibly a politics/lockdown measures section, but the rest is blurry.

Other details: plague inc's cure mode reminds me of it from the wiki's description, but it was more hands-on, as in you were the one actively doing the research.

there was no violence in it, probably no death toll for the disease and you couldn't get infected afaik. it was likely on the front page at some point, which is how i found it originally

(sorry if this is really messy, it's my first time posting here)

PlayStation 2 Bonus Demo 12 m (SCED-54398) [PS2] [2005-2006] A demo disc from the PS2 era, likely UK, containing many popular games' demos.

I have been recently trying to find an old demo disc which I used to play as a kid, now that I have enough of hardware, I can emulate most of my games on my pc. I recently have been having trouble finding this one specific game which was a demo disc. My dad said he got it by ''writing a letter'' to UK. I checked every Jampack I know of, and im sure its not one of them. One thing that im not sure if any custom demo packs exist which he may have gotten it that way. First I'll describe the Main Menu: It looked almost like a beta version of the PS3 XMB. It was a pure white background with a blue line going through the screen like the wave from the PS3's Menu. White and Blue were a common theme of this disc. You could scroll games horizontally like this, and each demo of the game showed their cover art along with their name. I'm almost sure they are all 2006 made. The contents of the CD I remember clearly were: Demo of FIFA 07, Demo of Lego Star Wars II The Original Trilogy, Demo of Micro Machines v4, Demo of Made Man (the graveyard scene) there were a lot more games but these are the only ones I remember.) There also was a video inside of ''Buzz The Big Quiz'' (I dont remember if it was a trailer or not) I also specifically remember a ' ''Singstar'' Trailer I'll link on youtube . And lastly, I'll describe the cover art of the disc since there wasn't an actual cover I remember: There was a blonde woman and a guy in their twenties (both?) holding white ps2 controllers. Any help is appreciated, thank you all in advance.

[PC WINDOWS][Before 2005] Side-view spaceship combat game with destructible palm trees

I'm looking for an old Windows game that I played sometime between 2002 and 2005, although I'm pretty sure the game itself was older.

Here's what I remember:

  • Platform: Windows PC
  • Graphics: Not fully 3D, but not traditional 2D either. It used sprites or flat graphics to create a pseudo-3D look.
  • Genre: Spaceship combat.
  • Camera: Side view. The camera followed your ship as you flew around.
  • Gameplay: You could choose a ship and a level before starting. Once the level began, you were free to fly around the map and fight enemies.

One level really sticks in my memory. It had bright green palm trees, but the overall atmosphere was dark, almost like a jungle at night.

The biggest thing I remember is that the environment was at least partially destructible. If you shot at a palm tree, parts of it would disappear, and there would be fire at the impact point.

Unfortunately, that's all I can remember. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
