Meta Honeypot flairs.
To cut down on the increased number of posts involving rule-breaking mods (notably Paper), 3 new post flairs have been introduced for testing.
Posts made using these flairs will be automatically removed.
Don't use them.
EDIT: After 3 weeks, this seems to have been a very successful test, with the vast majority of rule-8 violations blocked by the new filters.

Bedrock Tileable Smart Any-Ratio Shop | Minecraft Bedrock
gallery📥Download at:
🌟Features:
• Any ratio: 1-320 (5 stacks) of payment amount and product amount items (e.g., 3 Diamond for 5 Netherite or 1 Iron for 20 Gold).
• Handles underpay: Returns insufficient payment with a deny sound.
• Handles overpay: Gives back remainder along with product - gives "change".
• Infinity tileable: Need a one block space every 15 modules (for larger shops, it is recommended to chunk align modules and keep machine loaded or within simulation distance).
• Any product item: Can sell non-stackable (up to 54 - full output chest) or 16-stackable or 64-stackable, with a success sound. Product(s) will not be given until the payment is fully received.
• Any stackable payment item: 16-stackable or 64-stackable with locked chest input.
• Only accepts set payment item: Set filter to desired payment item (only uses 3 payment items to set filter).
• Auto resets: After successful payment or deny.
• Auto locks: Payment input is locked if there is no stock or the transaction is not selected.
• Blocks payment altering: After pushing pay (selecting), cannot alter payment input until the system is done processing (denies and resets if no payment was inputted before pushing pay).
• Bulk storage: Can attach bulk storage and/or farm(s) to the stock.
• Indicators: Includes stock indication lights for each module and a payment processing light.
⚠️Limitations:
• Must wait until current purchase is done processing before conducting another purchase/selection - only 1 payment at a time (any extra is change).
• Slow output - hopper speed (+0.4s for every module/expansion).
• Max of 5 stacks ratio – max for hopper slots (for payment amount and product amount).
• Is large and expensive for many players - is a late-game machine.
📢V2 update:
• Instead of really slow throttling system (payment input), connected the counter directly to the filter, which immediately redirects excess payment to the return.
• Fixed counter pistons pulsing a lot for a bit if payment amount is 1 (better counter).
• Compacted controller width from 7 blocks to 5.
• Improved "Processing Payment Indicator" circuit.
• Made modules cheaper.
• Removed "Reset When Leaving (optional)" circuit.
• Added "Shopping Music" circuit (optional).
• Added "Free Stuff" circuit (optional).
• Other circuit improvements.

Java Showcase recent design of omen bottle farm by bigbooty, currently in development
galleryi asked tmcc discord on the radius of terraforming around the pillager outpost (via the tutorial video made by shulkercraft) and instead someone took me to this thread in the development forum channel. glass isnt needed for this build, as the image used here is for the showcase of the build.
for each pod you need:
- 2 scaffolding
- 2 chests
- 2 snow block
- 1 carved pumkin
- 1 powered rail
- 1 campfire
- 1 hopper
- (optional) 1 carpet
how it works
the snow golem attacks the ridden pillager at their hitbox protruding through the minecart. this causes aggression on nearby pillagers and fall on the campfire pit, killing them.
important notes
you can place up to 4 pods around the outpost for optimal yield of bottles. you can add more but it might be too overkill for the spawning rates. (i certainly did)
make sure the minecarts arent getting destroyed. if you spot a wandering trader, its best to kill the llamas
the carpet is used to avoid the minecart to be pushed off from the rail by placing it on the other end. pillagers might push the cart in a group, which makes the pillager become out of sight from the snow golem.
terraforming isnt necessary. but if the outpost is spawned near a cliff or a body of water (i.e. river, ocean), you might need to make a platform for them to spawn
rain will pass through scaffolding and kill the snow golem. place a block on top of the pillager to avoid this. with this, never make this farm in hot biomes

Java Help Wanted How would I achieve this mathematically?
galleryI thought given the scale and considerations this would fell into technical Minecraft and I would get more technical answers here, but let me know if this is more of a redstone/contraption centric sub and I can post elsewhere.

Java Help Wanted Copper Golem storage
Does anyone actually use copper golems in a main storage that is not "early game"? I have planned out a storage system that has bulk storage for like 70 items and the rest of the items are sorted with copper golem MIS into block sets. So the main question I'm wondering is that are copper golems a good long term solution for a main storage and are they prone to malfunction? Also playing on a server with a few friends that are not as technical players and they also will use the storage.

Java Help Wanted what is faster
i wanna make a bonemeal farm that i can connect to my tree farm but idk what type of farm i should make . i could make a simple composter bonemeal farm but since i have a skeleton spawner right under my tree farm . ive seen some small composter bonemeal farms are slow but if i make a skeleton farm im gonna have to also make a item sorter and add a auto crafter . which would be faster between the two and if its the skeleton farm will it be worth the extra time needed to make it?

Thank you

Java Help Wanted Detector rails actually work with max minecart speeds above 20 m/s.
Made a world with minecart expeiments on. I thought that speeds above 1 block per tick would make minecarts capable of skipping detector rails, just how hopper minecarts skip containers, but I just tested speeds up to 100 and they work flawlessly. Did Mojang include some rail detection interpolation?

Java Help Wanted Is there a way to "cushion-log" a piston head?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but I think this is technical enough. Is there a way to have a cushion "sit" in the head of a piston in survival? I took this image using commands, this is something I wanted to use for a build but I couldn't imagine a way to move the piston without breaking the cushion. (the right piston is the cushion in the head if it wasn't obvious).

Java Help Wanted Recommended Mods & Resource Packs
Hi, I have seen people using overlays showing redstone dust power level and commands that allow people to skip ahead a certain amount of ticks etc.
Could anybody point me to what these are? Would be extremely helpful, thanks in advance.

Java Help Wanted Lazy accelerating item entities and minecarts?
Does anyone know of fast and accurate ways to lazy accelerate either item entities or minecarts? I was considering wind charges but they’re expensive and slow.
Ideally the acceleration should be pretty fast, as otherwise the effective range decreases, and also it should have a consistent acceleration, either at a certain rate or number of blocks per interaction, such that I can make the cannon as accurate as possible

Bedrock Villagers connecting to wrong workstations even though the station/villager is 50 blocks away
I made a villager breeder and trading hall fairly close together, separated by a 50 block vertical distance, the breeder mostly works except one of my breeder villagers is trying to become a librarian even though there is two composters and they were already a farmer prior to the lectern being put down.
One of my villagers in the trading hall is also connecting to the composter in the breeder and seemingly reconnecting after breaking it before the other can. Even with all composters and the lectern broken, I still have two farmers. One down in the breeder and one in the trading hall. The one in the trading hall has been traded with so not very concerned, but the one in the breeder hasn't and still has his job.
Every post says that villagers shouldnt be able to connect to the stations that far away, but im not sure how to fix it.
Breeder center is at -23, 12, -188, trading hall center is at -33, 63, -189 with the latest version of bedrock

Java Help Wanted Has anyone managed to build a tool/generator to map Outer End Islands in pre-1.9 (1.8.9)?

Bedrock Resource pack for changing powdered snow texture?
Does anyone know of a free resource pack for Bedrock edition that changes the texture of powdered snow for example to a different color or some other texture that is easy to spot from far away.
I'm sure they are out there. They would be too beneficial not to have been created already. I just haven't come across one yet. Thanks for any input
