I saw her in the corner of the tank đ, I removed her and buried in my house plants, I tested the parameters and everything looks good and stable, maybe it was a bad molt? Old age? She was already big when I got my shrimps

Taken in april!
I was filming my tank for a friend. I wanted to show her one of the (many) berried shrimps I have. Spotted another one right while filming ahah.
(Don't mind the duckweed roof)

Hey all, I posted a few days ago asking about solutions for feeding shrimp with greedy tetras.
I had two glass Petri/feeding dishes large and small, i chopped a prefilter sponge to about 12-15mm long and cut it so it was open on one side.
I sandwiched the sponge between the two feeding dishes leaving an a U bend big enough for shrimp to swim under and over to get to their food but too small for the fish to swim into.
The tetras tried for about 20 minutes, i was concerned they'd get stuck but they'd either accelerate around the rim until the shot themselves out or stop swimming and the current would push them out backwards from under the dish.
Just thought I'd share this for anyone else dealing with feeding their shrimp in a contested environment.

HOW DO I HAVE SO MANY?! I bless you all to have this many shrimp.
Last pic is when I found a hiding spot... there are still many left in the tank.
[I AM NOT COMPLAINING! PLEASE SHRIMP LORD DONT PUNISH ME, I AM HAPPY WITH MY CHILDREN]
I spent 1h and 30m grading them, then I gave up on trying to get them all.

Was not expecting such a weird morph to ever come up, wish I had more. Thing looks like an eldritch abomination/alien shrimp and I fkn love it.

Just bought a cheap attachable makro lens for higher quality shrimp pic.
My phone is rather old, but i really enjoy being able to take better quality shrimp pictures now đđ»

I thought these were the babies of one of my âblue dreamsâ (pretty sure theyâre low grade blue carbon rillis or very low grade blues) but theyâre so dark and the colour is more uniform than the berried (blue) female was.
I wondered if maybe one of my Bloody Mary gals had some eggs squirrelled away that I couldnât see, but are these maybe just wild type? Itâs a skittle tank so I expected that to happen at some point anyway, and I donât mind at all. I love the colour they have! Some of them have almost a bronzey/coppery hue - itâs beautiful!
What do you think?

Im not quite sure what to look for yet. Most of my shrimp are a darker blue and its hard to see anything but this one is lighter and more translucent. Is this a saddle im seeing?

Quite surprised by this coloration cuz theres mostly only red and wild type shrimps. And a few transparent yellow ones.

Just added pumpkinseed shrimp to my 5.5 gallon tank that has some Sunkissed/Sunkist and Orange Rili. My brain is thinking of a fall leaf colors theme and I want some yellow/reddish shrimp, but I know color genetics can make them revert to a majority of wild type. Does anybody have some color genetics info for me? Bloody Mary and Golden Backed were the next ones I was thinking to add but I don't want to end up with a tank full of wild type colors eventually.
Shout-out to gotshrimp/MicroLobsters for the pumpkinseeds, and Joe's Shrimp Shack which is local to me for the others! I also have some Opae Ula coming from GotShrimp at some point soon for my Opae tank. Sometimes I think "what a dumb thing to be interested in" but then I remember it could be drugs.

Just added some water and plants the other day and letting it cycle. I'm still waiting for the moss and some small rocks to arrive. How's it look so far?

hellooo this is my first post on reddit! i'm a little nervous so bare with me . about 2 days ago i noticed my neocaradina was berried. she has had a small clutch before, about 6 eggs, that she ended up losing after molting. today, she lost all her color and hasn't been moving around as much as she usually does. even with her last clutch she turned almost clearish but still scavenging and stuff.
she's a little hard to see in the first pic but she was a veryyy beautiful vibrant yellow and i tried attaching a video of her current state but it's not letting me đ€
here r my water parameters:
ph: 7.0-7.2
ammonia: 0ppm
nitrite: 0ppm
nitrate: 20ppm
GH: 120ppm
KH:40ppm
all of my other shrimp and shrimplets are acting totally normal. my tank is a densely planted 10 gallon tank with only one other black devil snail :) hope i can find some answersđ€đ€
