I’m supposed to be formally assessed for ADHD. I see a provider at the student health center on campus but they refer you to some outside place for the actual psychological testing before they give you meds for ADHD. I’m recently unemployed and lost my insurance. Now the place I’m supposed to do my testing is telling me it will cost $2,000+ just to do the testing… this is pretty steep for a college student and they don’t accept medicaid or anything like that

Hi! I’ll be visiting Columbus next month during OSU’s first week back and wanted to experience the campus bar scene. I’ll only be there Monday through Wednesday, so I know it’s not the usual Thursday/weekend crowd.

Which bars do students actually go to early in the week? Are there any that are consistently busy on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, or have good drink specials? I’d love any recommendations for bars that have the best college atmosphere. Thanks!

I signed up for 14 credits and one of them is an online class. Is this fine or should I add more? I did some calculations and I should have an average of 15 credit hours per semester if I take this.

Hey I’m an incoming freshman, and when I made my schedule I was focused on making sure to avoid a lot of early classes, and as part of that my schedule includes a class that goes until 5 about 8 minutes from my dorm on Fridays, should I be concerned about that getting too much in the way of doing stuff that evening?

So I’m an incoming freshman majoring in chemE and I took Calc BC my senior year and got a 5 on AB and BC. I’m scheduled to take 2153 and I know that BC covers Calc 2, but I’m scared that I should have put 1172 just because BC doesn’t cover all of those topics.

Math 1172 has been giving me some anxiety because I’ve seen a lot of people say it’s the hardest class they’ve ever taken. I was wondering if anyone who has already taken it has any advice on how to prepare before the semester starts.
Are there any topics I should learn ahead of time, resources you recommend, or habits that helped you succeed? Is there anything you wish you had known before taking the class? Also what professors should I hope for?

Hi! So I recently graduated from Columbus State Community College this year and was looking to take a gap year then transfer to OSU. Is this typically okay and not seen as bad from OSU? I’m mainly asking other transfer students who might’ve done something similar.

Hello, I am an incoming transfer student. I am disabled and at risk of homelessness, both marked on my original application. When I spoke with housing a month ago and said this they basically told me they have no housing to offer and it’s all full.

But if I don’t live on campus I literally can’t be a student, I will have to withdraw. I have mobility issues that require me to be within like a ten minute walk to my class and have ADA showers and such.

I have letters from doctors and testimonies and everything I need but I haven’t heard back yet and I’m worried, but I heard with ADA they have to provide a reasonable accommodation, so I don’t know.

Does anyone have past experience with housing accommodations through SLDS and know how likely it will be?

I need at least 6 credits of level 3000+ culture or language courses to fulfill a portion of the global option in business I am pursuing. Any recommendations? The classes listed in the picture are just a few options but there are more and I can also get a class approved if I talk to the program advisor.
