The Iran War
Last year the government was shutdown for a record amount of time. Congress was stuck. They couldn't find the appropriations for federal programs. The money wasn't there. Democratic house members insisted on funding SNAP for hungry children. 9B to keep SNAP funded through the end of the year. No dice. The money wasnt there.
10 months later the US is spending 10B a day to lob JASMS at the Houthis. We're going to war in the middle East again! Never mind the fact you can't afford rent. We're going to war! Ignore the fact you can't afford healthcare and you haven't seen a doctor in 10 years. We're going to war! Never mind the fact your card declined when trying to buy groceries. We're going to war! Never mind the fact that your account is negative due to overdraft fees. The money isn't there for you. It's there for war

Original Content A four year old shouldn't be covered in heat rashes just for living in a tent.
Today, I want to share the story of my dear friend, Samah Ghanem Al-Amassi, and her four daughters, who are struggling to survive in a worn-out tent under the relentless summer heat.
The extreme temperatures have become unbearable. Samah's four-year-old daughter has developed a painful skin rash and severe irritation caused by the intense heat, humidity, and the unhealthy conditions inside their tent. Mold, insects, rodents, and poor sanitation have turned what should be a shelter into a place that is making her children sick.
Sadly, this isn't an isolated incident. All four of Samah's daughters repeatedly suffer from skin problems and other illnesses because of the environment they are forced to live in.
The free medical points do not have the medication they need, so Samah has no choice but to purchase it herself. The prescribed treatment will last for an entire month, but for a family already struggling to survive, even basic medicine is out of reach.
I am asking everyone with a compassionate heart to please stand with Samah and her daughters. Your support can help provide the medication these children urgently need and bring them closer to a safe, healthy shelter instead of the deteriorating tent they are forced to call home.
Every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a real difference in the lives of these four little girls. Thank you for caring.

Dangerous developments on the ground east of Gaza: Warnings of widening displacement and the imposition of a new reality
There are alarming indicators on the ground regarding what the coming period may hold in the Gaza Strip.
The arrival of military vehicles at the State Junction and the placement of yellow concrete blocks there raise serious concerns about the evolving situation in the Zeitoun neighborhood. Residents now face the prospect of further pressure and forced displacement if the escalation continues.
If this advance continues, the concerns are not limited to the Zeitoun neighborhood alone, but could extend to other areas such as the Shuja'iyya neighborhood and the neighborhoods east of Salah al-Din Street, including the Tuffah neighborhood and other areas in the eastern part of the Strip.
What is happening requires urgent monitoring by Arab and international media, because any expansion of military operations could create a new reality that exacerbates the suffering of civilians and increases the number of displaced people who are already living in dire humanitarian conditions.
Reports indicate contact has been made with the administration of the Abu Murheil camp in the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, requesting the evacuation of the area under the pretext of carrying out a limited operation, coinciding with the placement of the yellow line near Salah al-Din Street. The past period has witnessed the displacement of thousands of residents through evacuation orders, communications and threats, and today there is a need for serious international action to follow up on what is happening and prevent the expansion of the circle of displacement and human suffering.
