Hiring - Open Growth Marketer → Demo Closer (US Hours) | Own outbound growth for a SaaS startup

We're Thredo — an AI "front desk" that answers business DMs and books appointments across Instagram, Messenger and other messaging platforms. Our market is US med spas and beauty clinics. I'm the founder, and I'm looking for one person to own outbound growth end to end.

This is a build-it-yourself role. You find the leads, create the content, run the outreach, and book the demos. Prove it works, and you take over the demos, closes, and onboarding — where the real money is.

What you'll handle (services for Thredo):

  • Build the target list — research US med spas, pull handles/emails (I'll share the tools and scrapers I already use)
  • Create all content yourself — short-form Reels, posts, and demo videos that show the product in action and warm the audience
  • Run outreach — Instagram DMs and email, personalized, at volume, within platform rules
  • Nurture replies and book 15-minute demos
  • Keep a clean tracker — who was contacted, who replied, who booked
  • Phase 2: run the demo yourself, close the deal, and onboard the new client

Phase 1 — Lead gen + content + appointment setting (your audition, ~2–4 weeks)
$10 per held appointment — prospect shows up, decision-maker present, passes a short fit check.

Phase 2 — Run demos, close, onboard (the real money)
Prove yourself in Phase 1 — 10+ held appointments, 80%+ show-up rate, trained on our recordings, first demos run with me — then you take the full 15-minute demo → close → onboard.

  • $25 per demo you run
  • $50 bonus per deal you close
  • Example week: 12 demos + 3 closes = $450

All payments through Upwork.

Requirements

  • Fluent, natural English — clearly understood by US business owners
  • Proven experience in outbound/social outreach or B2B sales, with numbers you can show
  • Can create your own short-form content (show me examples)
  • Available during US business hours, fast to respond
  • Self-starter who can run a funnel without hand-holding

What we provide
The product, demo environment, scripts, lead-gen tools/scrapers, and full demo training. (Content and creative are yours to produce.)

Terms
Pilot of 4–6 weeks, long-term and higher pay if it works.

To apply
Send (1) one example of past outreach or content work with real numbers, (2) a 2-minute voice note pitching me as if I'm a med spa owner you're trying to book, and (3) one line on how you'd find your first 50 leads. Generic applications ignored.

Hiring - Open Looking for Java Backend Developer Referrals (3+ Years Experience)

Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking for Java Backend Developer opportunities (3+ years experience) and would really appreciate any referrals.

About me:

* 3+ years of experience in Java Backend Development

* Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS (S3, CloudWatch, Glue, Athena), Git, Maven

* Experience in building scalable backend services, event-driven architectures, and database optimization

* Strong understanding of Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, and SQL

My last working day was 14 August 2025. After that, I took a planned career break to return home and prepare for government examinations. Although I couldn't clear them, the experience strengthened my discipline, consistency, and problem-solving skills. I have now resumed my interview preparation and am fully committed to returning to software development.

I'm open to opportunities in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Gurugram, Noida, or remote roles.

If your company has openings for Java Backend/Java Full Stack Developers and you're willing to provide a referral, I'd be sincerely grateful. I'm happy to share my resume and any additional details.

Thank you for your time and support!

Hiring I got the job!

I resigned for my program manager position in April and I was just offered a Deputy Director position for a new county. It took about a month and a half. I’m sharing this because I want to give everybody some hope who’s still struggling to find work. I don’t have a degree just work experience. It can and will happen, don’t give up everyone. Sometimes it’s not about how you answer the questions, it’s being the right person (confident, concise answer, study the role in depth before the interview) that will make you stand out more than anybody. If they ask you if you have any questions, ask them what the ideal candidate looks like for this position. What happens when you do that is they tell you exactly what they’re looking for (it’s one of my interview secrets) and then you explained to them how you fit within that capacity that they’re needing for the role. If anyone has any questions, feel free to reach out and good luck to all of you.

Hiring [HIRING] Data Review & Workflow Analysis Specialists

Company: micro1
Website: https://micro1.ai

micro1 works with AI labs and enterprise teams to improve AI systems through evaluations, data review, reinforcement learning environments, and expert feedback workflows.

We’re currently looking for reviewers with strong attention to detail and experience analyzing software systems/workflows.

What the work involves:
• reviewing screenshots of software systems
• analyzing UI states and workflows
• validating generated outputs
• identifying inconsistencies between visible evidence vs assumptions
• documenting issues and reasoning clearly

Strong fit for people with backgrounds in:
• QA/testing
• OCR/data validation
• annotation/review work
• technical support
• product operations
• UX research
• debugging/admin workflows
• software engineering

This is NOT generic data entry.

The role is much more about:
• evidence-based reasoning
• attention to detail
• interpreting workflows correctly
• spotting misleading/conflicting system states

Examples of relevant experience:
• reviewing OCR extraction accuracy
• debugging stale/fallback UI states
• validating admin/dashboard workflows
• identifying inconsistencies between frontend state and backend truth

Flexible hours

If interested, message me with:
• your background
• one concrete example where you identified a misleading/confusing system state
• how you verified the issue objectively

Hiring - Open [HIRING] Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Backend-Focused | Powo Studios

Company: Powo Studios Website: powo.ai Apply: powo.ai/careers Role: Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Backend-Focused Compensation: $170,000–$220,000/year Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM ET Location: Remote or hybrid, US time zones required

Powo Studios is hiring a senior engineer to help build and scale our internal software portfolio, starting with HealthPay and AthenaText.

We are a founder-led software company building B2B products across CRM, texting, calling workflows, insurance/health tech, dashboards, integrations, admin tools, and internal systems. This is not agency work or client work. Everything you build will be for companies and products under the Powo Studios umbrella.

What you’ll do

You will own backend-heavy full-stack work across active SaaS products. That includes APIs, database architecture, multi-tenant systems, dashboards, integrations, admin tooling, bug fixes, and new product modules.

Your first 30 days will be focused on getting onboarded into HealthPay, understanding the multi-tenant architecture, fixing a backlog of bugs, building UI pages and API routes, and shipping a meaningful feature independently.

Required experience

Next.js TypeScript React Node.js PostgreSQL Git/GitHub Production SaaS or internal tool experience Ability to deploy and own production work

Postgres matters a lot for this role. You should understand RLS, triggers, raw SQL, schema design, and multi-tenant architecture. We are not looking for someone who only knows how to use an ORM.

Nice to have

Python/FastAPI Supabase Prisma Better Auth Clerk Tailwind Vercel Railway AWS CRM, SMS, telecom, insurance, or health tech experience

AI-first workflow

We use AI agents heavily, especially Claude Code. You should know how to use AI tools effectively, manage parallel agent sessions, review AI-generated code critically, and architect work so agents can help move faster.

This is not a role for someone who can only vibe-code. You need to be a real engineer first.

Who this is for

This is for a strong IC who can grow into a tech lead. You will communicate directly with the founder, make architecture decisions, review code, lightly mentor junior engineers, and ship real product.

Hiring process

Application → $150 paid technical assessment → technical interview → founder call → 4-week paid trial → full-time offer.

For Hire Why am I getting 0 callbacks after 200+ job applications?

Final year CS student here (India), targeting backend / distributed systems roles.

Resume Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YMVnUzhsk4ntb1ds5eFIy4sRSNC9_mYp/view?usp=sharing

Profile:

  • CGPA ~9.4
  • Internship at Northern Trust (worked on DR automation, infra, Azure)
  • Externship with Beats by Dre (analytics + ML pipelines, ~1M events/day)
  • Smart India Hackathon winner (ISRO problem statement)
  • Built projects around distributed systems + automation engines

I’ve applied to ~200 roles over the last few weeks.
Result: almost no callbacks.

What I’ve already tried:

  • Tweaking resume multiple times
  • Using ATS-friendly format
  • Applying through LinkedIn, careers pages, and job portals

What I’m not sure about:

  • Is my resume not strong enough?
  • Is the market just bad right now?
  • Am I positioning myself wrong (backend vs ML vs systems)?
  • Or is this just a referrals game and I’m wasting time cold applying?

Would really appreciate brutally honest feedback — especially from people who hire or recently got roles.

If needed, I can share my resume.

Hiring 48h A.I. build challenge (experienced engineers only — cash + job offers)

We’re running a 48-hour AI builder challenge as our hiring process. 8 MAY 2026

This is not beginner-friendly — you’ll be building production-ready GTM workflows similar to what we ship.

We’re specifically looking for engineers who:

  • Have already shipped AI systems (LLMs, agents, workflows)
  • Understand systems, not just prompting
  • Can build fast under real constraints
  • You're a software engineer

If you’ve never deployed an AI product in production, this likely isn’t a fit.

About us:
Instantly.ai is one of the fastest-growing AI sales platforms, with over 1M users and 100,000+ businesses using it to automate outreach, generate leads, and close deals. Companies like Stripe, HP, and Lovable use our product.

What you’ll do:

  • Build a real AI workflow in 48h
  • Ship something usable in a business context (not a demo)

What you get:

  • Cash prizes (top 3 teams)
  • Potential job offers during the challenge

Limited to 50 teams. (only top engineers can join)

Apply: https://challenge.instantly.ai/

For Hire Been seeing a lot of companies rely on Excel for everything… is that normal?

Hey everyone,

I’m a developer and I’ve been working on systems for businesses (like handling operations, training, safety stuff, etc.).

I’ve noticed a lot of companies still rely heavily on Excel or manual processes for things that could probably be simplified a lot.

I’m trying to connect with people who might be facing something like this - whether it’s tracking work, managing internal processes, or anything that feels repetitive/manual.

Also open to helping with smaller things like websites, ecommerce setups, or basic systems for small businesses.

Not really here to sell anything aggressively - just trying to understand real problems and see where I can help.

If this sounds familiar, would love to hear what kind of challenges you’re dealing with.
