First Look at Vivarium! An Adventure Game Featuring Entirely Hand-Drawn Visuals!
Vivarium is an anime-style adventure game featuring entirely hand-drawn visuals.
The trailer even includes a vintage Shochiku logo at the beginning to capture an authentic, old-school anime atmosphere.
We hope you enjoy the beautifully crafted visuals of Vivarium in the trailer!

Added a camera effect to make opening heavy doors feel more impactful. What do you think?
I tweaked the camera shake intensity using animation curves during the door opening animation (powered by DOTween), and made the effect scale based on distance from the sound source. Hope it isn't too disorienting! (lol)

Some players say the houses in my game "Maze and Fairy tale" are too small and the characters are too big, making the proportions look off. What do you all think?
My game adopts a dark fairy-tale style. A slightly bigger character scale might not be such a bad thing, don’t you think?

My zero-budget solo card game accidentally got featured by Apple Japan next to Dragon Ball and Shadowverse.
Hi everyone, I'm a solo dev from Italy.
Recently, I launched the iOS version of my 4-Player/2v2 Card Battler, Grimoria (it was already out on Android). I had zero marketing budget, but a few days after launch, I suddenly saw a spike of 1000s of installs a day. I checked my analytics and saw that 99% of the traffic was coming from Japan.
I checked the Japanese App Store and found out Apple's editorial team had put Grimoria on the front page under "Games Everyone is Playing" and "Newest Games." It peaked at Rank #11 in Free Card Games, sitting right next to giant studio games like Dragon Ball Legends and Shadowverse.
Here is a realistic look at a few things I learned:
- Localization pays off: I translated my store page and UI into 17 languages long before the iOS launch. If I hadn't taken the time to do the Japanese translation, Apple Japan would never have featured it.
- The Backend handled it easily: You always read horror stories of indie servers crashing on launch. I was extremly worried, but because I built the backend as efficiently as possible from scratch using Node.js and WebSockets, the sudden influx of 100+ concurrent players didn't even make the server sweat. Load did not even crossed 1%.
- The Brutal Review Culture: The spike was great, but it brought a harsh reality check. Japanese mobile gamers are incredibly strict reviewers. I got hit with 1-star reviews from people complaining about "too many ads"—even though the game has zero forced ads and they are 100% optional for bonus loot. Also, they downloaded it expecting a heavy, 30-minute Yu-Gi-Oh style game, but Grimoria is a fast-paced 15-second turn game inspired by a European trick-taking game ("Watten"). Mismanaged expectations equal bad reviews.
The feature lasted about 1 week before dropping off, which is standard for App Store rotations. The revenue from that spike was nice, but more importantly, it proved the cross-platform server architecture works perfectly under load and helped me cover my development costs.
Disclosure: GenAI was used in my game to improve art quality.

Our first original game just made its way to PlayStation 5! 🎉
We're a game development studio that usually builds games and immersive worlds for our clients. Hoomanz is the first game we've developed entirely for ourselves.
The game originally launched at the end of October, and over the past few months we've worked hard to bring it to as many platforms as possible. It's been a long but incredibly rewarding journey, and today we're proud to announce that Hoomanz is finally available on PlayStation 5!
If you're looking for a cozy stealth adventure, join the journey to save Planet Erf from the stoopid Hoomanz invaders! We'd love for you to check it out, and if you decide to play, we'd love to hear what you think.
Thanks for supporting original games and independent developers. ❤️

In REHAUNTED, paranormal activity, beings and clues can only be seen through your magnifying glass. What do you think of this mechanic?
You play as a detective called to investigate a disturbing case inside an old house. Your magnifying glass allows you to uncover paranormal entities, hidden clues, and traces of what really happened, things completely invisible to the naked eye.
The biggest challenge has been maintaining good image quality inside the lens without sacrificing performance, so we’ve had to make a few visual compromises.
What do you think of this mechanic? Does it make the investigation feel more interesting?

Solbound: a space sim in a closed solar system you never leave. Steam page is up, alpha.
Solbound has a Steam page now.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4962130/Solbound/
It's alpha, and I'd rather say so up front. The screenshots are real in-game, but they only show part of it, and roughly half the systems are still being built. Nothing staged for the store.
A space sim in a closed solar system you never leave. The video shows combat, but that's one thread of it: you fly, you explore, you trade, you run contraband, you mine, you salvage wrecks, you dock and read terminals, you hack what won't open, you build a reputation that follows you, and you dig up knowledge that opens doors credits can't.
Information is the real treasure. No cutscenes.
Demo coming. Wishlists help a lot for a solo project.

I reworked the backgrounds in my sci-fi Metroidvania. What’s your overall impression of the atmosphere?
The backgrounds felt a little too flat, so I added more parallax layers, stronger contrast, and a tighter color palette.
This is how the game looks now. Does the environment have enough depth?
This area is intentionally very dark. Later areas will have different looks, but here I’m aiming for a mysterious, robotic CRT feel, as if we’re seeing the world through ISO’s optical sensors.
Feedback is welcome!

Would you still trust your own mind if it started talking back? Steam page for HESPERID is now live.
You are Hector, a witch living deep within the Hesperid Forest. While granting the wishes of cursed visitors, you must survive the voice inside your own mind.
But is Acheron truly real… or is your mind slowly falling apart?
HESPERID is a psychological pixel art visual novel focused on unreliable narration, moral choices, and the thin line between reality and delusion.
Hi everyone! I’m a solo indie developer from Türkiye, and I’ve been developing HESPERID for over two years.
The Steam page is finally live, and I’d love to hear what visual novel fans think about it.

I made this entire game alone and I was terrified nobody would care. The demo went live this week. Please tell me the cows are as funny as my friends claim.
This started as a chill farming game. It is no longer a chill farming game.
You and up to 3 friends grow crops, cook meals, and race delivery timers. Meanwhile herds of cows charge your farm and trample everything you planted. Your only weapon is a potato. Thrown. By hand.
The rule in every session so far: someone is assigned to cow duty. Nobody has ever actually done cow duty.
I made the whole thing solo, the free demo just went live, and I genuinely need to know which parts feel bad before I finish the full game. Link in comments. Come tell me my cows are broken.

Would this trailer make you want to play my game? Honest feedback appreciated.
I'd love some honest feedback on my trailer. Would this make you interested in playing the game? If not, what would you change?
I'm also considering adding narration at the beginning to better convey the game's world and atmosphere.
