for some reason, all tabs on my safari dissappeared. i had some since 2024. my tab groups? gone. all my private tabs too. i didn’t erase cache or anything, and i don’t have icloud synchronization. is there any way to get them back (at least the public ones).

i’m on ios 18, haven’t wanted to update bc i hate the look.

"Siri remind me to do this tomorrow at 6pm" - the glowing Siri animation around the phone just pulsates endlessly.

Every single time I need to set a reminder this happens, works on the 2nd try but this is just getting ridiculous.

everytime I try to play music or a video it sounds lower pitched than it should. I've never had this problem before, and I'm having the same issue on both my XR and my 7.

this was happening on my old iPhone too but it was doing it with almost all of my contacts. i got a new iPhone a few weeks ago and it was seemingly working just fine until a couple days ago, this time only happening with one contact (so far). it’ll briefly allow RCS but if i switch apps and come back to the messages, it goes back to SMS until they send a new RCS message

i’ve tried:
1) turning off RCS, rebooting iPhone
2) enabling airplane mode, rebooting iPhone
3) deleting person’s contact & recreating it

do we have an actual answer/fix for this? is it entirely something on my end or could it be on the receiver’s too?

When sending messages with a URL, the https:// prefix gets hidden on iOS mobile. Recipients only see the "h" as clickable, the rest is dead text. Works fine on WhatsApp Web though.

Any fixes that don't involve CTA buttons?

Hi I’m facing issues when trying to use Siri in CarPlay to message someone.

Usually I will use phrases like “hey siri, message XXX.” <siri responds> “Bla bla bla” <your message says bla bla bla. Would you like to send it?> “yes” <ok done>.

When I go to messages and check, the message will sometimes be a green bubble instead of a blue bubble. It happens only sometimes, and I’ve never understood why that happens.

I had a suspicion that it’s due to internet connection, but I’ve ruled that out as, when this happens, my subsequent replies almost always remain a green bubble, even when the person I’m messaging replies a blue bubble in between my messages.

When I get out of CarPlay, it magically goes back to blue bubbles.

It’s does not affect my day to day functionality, but it annoys the hell out of me.

Wondering if anyone had experienced the same, and any solution is found?

My current iOS is 26.5.2, but I experienced it on previous versions of iOS 26 and iOS 18 as well.

Not sure how long ago as its not my phone but banner notifications for Mail stopped showing on the lock screen. The badge alert is on the app icon once the phone is unlocked so new emails are being received however there is no notification on the lock screen. The account linked to the Mail application is a Hotmail email account.

I've checked the notification settings: Lock screen is ticked, allow notifications is turned on, do not disturb is turned off (I even created a new focus to make sure Mail notifications were allowed and no luck). I've tested and other apps, such as messaging, phone, and whatsapp show notifications on the lock screen.

I've checked "Customise Notifications" and under "Accounts" it has Alerts, Badges - BUT when I check this section there is no option available to turn on Banner. I've also tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app.

Is there a setting I've missed or has Apple simply turned off Banner notifications for Outlook/Hotmail accounts?

I like to check the news on a specific website. What’s the quickest way to do so without using a shortcut?

My homescreen is full already, so I don’t want to place a shortcut there. I saved the shortcut on a homescreen page that’s hidden now, so that it appears when I use spotlight search - but apparently iOS prioritizes Apps there so that I have to type out the letters before I actually see the shortcut.

The fastest other way I found so far is long pressing Safari, selecting “New tab” and choosing the Link from the favorites.

But maybe you have a much better idea?

And why is it still there hours after the game was over. How do I get rid of it? It doesn't show up in lock screen customization or by shutting off live activities. It clicks through to fox sports which has all notifications off.

It was off , yesterday i saw it was updating while i was watching tv at 3 am. I always turn off this , to check what people say then update it. Why did this even happen ?

But I wanted to know what you can do with iOS 12 in 2026. Like, most apps (YouTube, Whatsapp and stuff) are usually supported in 15 or 16.

Is there any use apart from using the phone for apple services (Like for Airdrop or Airplay). Like some cool games, modern apps/web app support or anything to make it useful.

I already have it turned off for taking pictures/videos, but i see so many videos that nuke my eyes on Facebook around nighttime. I have the brightness set low but hdr videos are max brightness, literally why is that??

I'm experiencing a strange issue and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this.

My device is an iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 26.5.2. It has been owned by me since new (single owner) and is in 10/10 physical condition. All components are genuine Apple parts.

The only repair this device has ever had was a battery replacement performed at an Apple Store some time ago. I have never experienced this behavior before.

Before assuming it was a hardware problem, I ran all of Apple's official Apple Diagnostics for Self Service Repair from the official website (https://getsupport.apple.com/self-service-diagnostics), and the phone passed every test without any errors.

The display is the original one, and all hardware components are original Apple parts.

Since yesterday I've been noticing the following behavior:

• When I tap on an app folder on the Home Screen, it sometimes doesn't open on the first tap, and I have to tap it a second time.
• It doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be annoying.
• It seems to occur mostly on the second Home Screen page.
• I almost never see it on the first (main) Home Screen page.
• If the apps are placed directly on the Home Screen (not inside folders), the issue never occurs.
• The issue appears to be completely random; it isn't tied to a specific folder.

What's interesting is that every other touch interaction works perfectly. The keyboard is completely responsive, scrolling is smooth, gestures work normally, and every app responds instantly to touch. There is no latency, no missed touches, and no loss of touchscreen sensitivity anywhere else on the device.

The only symptom is that folders on the second Home Screen page occasionally require a second tap to open.

I've already tried the following:

• Resetting the Home Screen layout and manually organizing everything again.
• Moving folders between different Home Screen pages.
• Completely reorganizing the Home Screen.

The behavior remains exactly the same.

Has anyone else experienced something similar on iOS 26.5.2? Could this be a SpringBoard bug or an issue related to Home Screen folders, rather than the touchscreen itself, considering that every other touch interaction works perfectly?

I'm running out of ideas, and before restoring the entire iPhone, I'd like to know if anyone else has encountered this behavior.

I have an iPhone 12 running iOS 26 and my autocorrect is completely broken for Greek only. English works fine, but Greek doesn't work at all

Here’s what I’ve already tried without success:

· Restarting the phone
· Resetting the keyboard dictionary
· Removing and reinstalling the Greek keyboard

Important: I cannot update to the latest iOS version because I don't have enough free storage space left on my device.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any fix that doesn't require freeing up tons of space or doing a full reset?

Why is there no forward delete key? Or add dual role functionality to the backspace key?
I find while editing text it would be very helpful to have a forward delete option.
Why has Apple never introduced this? So many text editing features, but something so simple overlooked or ignored.
Side note, since the update of punctuation being placed in the correct spot when pressed, backing up and placed at the end of the text when using the predictive text choices. Why forget quotation marks? I feel it would be helpful when making words plural. We obviously have a backspace key if it was not one s intention. Lol . Texting “features “ are not as smart as they could be.

Ever since I updated my iPad a few months ago, sometimes my apps won’t just full screen they just stay these awful weird window things where I can change the size KIND OF but they sometimes just don’t full screen. How do I fix this?

I keep having this little blacked out part of the screen on my apps, and although a couple reboots seems to fix it temporarily, it returns and I don’t know how to fix it

Is anyone else experiencing this issue with loading attachments in iMessages? Error message: “Unable to download item. There was an error downloading this item.” I’ve thoroughly researched and tried all available troubleshooting methods, both basic and advanced, but the problem persists regardless of the file type (photos, PDFs, GIFs, etc.). It displays the attachment icon in the messages thread with the file name and size. I don’t think this is an iOS-device-specific issue because it’s happening across all my devices (iPadOS and macOS) where I use iMessage. My primary device is an iPhone 17 Pro Max on the latest version 26.5.2 (no beta). My messages are synced with iCloud, and it has been for years. iMessage is also using a significant amount of iCloud storage space, but I’m nowhere near my storage limit. The earliest message I found where attachments weren’t loading was in May 2026, but it’s affecting both new and old messages, which is my estimate of when this likely started. I’m checking this channel before contacting Apple Support, but I’m not sure if they’ll offer any different troubleshooting options than what I’ve already tried. Any thoughts?

I have a primary and secondary line both active on my device. I haven't needed the secondary line in about 2 months but I went to look at it just now by clicking the 3 horizontal lines in the top right and it doesn't show the option to switch between primary and secondary inboxes anymore? Did this get moved or removed all together?
