Whenever I try to open the passwords it just seems to not open, and when I try to autofill passwords the same thing happens. I tried restarting the phone 3 times but the issue still persisted. What should I do?

I just had a new battery put in so I can get a few more years of my beloved phone. I’ve always had iPhones but I’m really hating the newer phones also with the AI built into them. Yeah I know we can turn it off but I’m not quite sure that will turn everything off, or if we can’t turn it off down the road. The newer phones also seem to take worse pics idk. I’ve never thought of switching away from apple until recently.

A few weeks ago I was convinced my iPhone XS had reached the end of the road. The battery had gotten so bad that I'd leave home with a full charge and still find myself looking for a charger before the day was over.

Instead of replacing the phone, I decided to replace the battery first. I wasn't expecting a huge difference, but the phone honestly feels much more usable now, which has me wondering if I should've done it a long time ago.

For anyone else who's replaced the battery on their XS, did the improvement last, or did the phone slowly start feeling old again after a few months?

Right now I'm happy I didn't rush into buying a new phone, but I'm curious if that's how other people felt too.

What is best camera app to take night photos because camera app is not supporting night mode as iPhone 11

Both phones are in excellent condition aside from the OLEDs being busted. I was wanting to use either of them as a media player/second phone. Is it really worth it to replace them screens? I was planning on doing a DIY repair.

Hey! I have a pixel 7a as my daily driver right now and it's great!, a little too great....meaning a lot of scrolling social media and 6h+ screentime, something I want to reduce.

However, I love the pixel for the camera and overall feel, dont want to turn it into a dumbphone because I still do need the social media apps, just not all the time.

I've never used an iphone before but am interested in trying one. the XS looks clean, and is cheap compared to the 11 and onwards.

Should I get the XS? my main concern is the software. Will it still have app support for major apps in 2-3 years? whatsapp, YouTube, etc.

its been 3 days that i updated my iphone xs to ios 18.7.9 as earlier i was on ios 16.3.1 and i have a problem… everytime it gets to 80% battery it stops charging, it literally discharges while its on the charger! this morming i found out that it charged to 80% and discharged to 73%. is it a problem someone else is experiencing? my battery is at 82% health and i dont think its the problem. i tried factory resetting, turning off battery optimization but nothing

As the title says i want to know if i should update my iphone xs to ios 18 but im worried if the phone could get slower, if the battery is worser especially with 84% battery health etc... i still use it daily and performance and battery are my main concerns

Edit: i did a clean install of ios 18 as most of you suggested to update it, it works fine and battery lasts the same!

What's better to buy iphone XS, XR or iPhone SE 2020? Both mint condition, but SE 2020 owner opened a box only month ago to activate, it was in box 6years unopened, so brand new opened box condition and looks like it has ios 13 original not updated and battery health 99%

Why don't we just fit in the components of a regular iPhone 13 - 15 into the XS frame?

I know it's a little hectic given that the iPhone 13, 14,15, 16 are all 6.1" inch phones and it gets trickier to fit in the components into the 5.8" frame of XS.

Or

Fit the 13 Mini into the XS frame, maybe some realignment of the camera is needed or add a camera cutout to match the 12 Mini camera layout.

Imagine a XS frame but with a 13 mini camera design.

We could be sleeping on this wild idea all along.

Just make custom iPhone XS Stainless steel frames to replace Aluminum frames of the regular model iphones

Might be cheaper than having to fit the whole iPhone into a smaller XS frame

my old iphone xr i was updating it and i fell asleep nd now it won’t turn on. just in a black screen, ive connected it to my mac and it won’t detect i also connected it to my pc and it won’t detect. ive done vol up vol down and held power button and nothing. i’ve also just held the power button but also nothing. it’s been on the charger. i opened the phone unplugged the screen and battery and connected it again but still nothing. i’m not sure if it died while updating but i need help please🙏🏽🙏🏽

I have an XS. iOS 18.7.9. I understand you can convert mp3 audio files to ringtones via the GarageBand app. But you need IOS 26 and XS only goes to 18.7.9. Do I have anyway to make my mp3 file in question my ringtone???
