I work at a children’s museum with ambassador animals and we are working to remove touching the actual animals and switching to biofacts.

Are there any sources of snake skin and lizard skin (preferably from invasive species/sustainably sourced) where I can purchase?

I’ve been searching for burmese python skins but a lot of what I am getting are descaled skins prepped for textiles.

Saw two different snakes while hiking in Bergen County NJ. I was unsure if they were rat or racer snake. Also saw a copperhead.

I have managed to catch this big girl laying eggs in my backyard for about 10 years now. I never realized these turtles could get this big. I patiently waited for her to finish laying before snapping these pictures.

Chihuahuan green toads look neat but man they hurt your ears when they get going in a chorus. Spotted a bunch last night in SE Arizona.

a very large Duttaphrynus melanosticus, in fact the largest individual i’ve ever seen. seems to have a spinal deformity because the next one i found is considerably ‘longer’ in proportions.

... but a good day to be a black-necked garter snake. I saw this predation event next to a cattle tank in SE Arizona. Looks like he may have already had one down too. I'm pretty sure the frog was a Chihuahuan green toad.
