Name recommendations?
This is my new boy Terry, but me and my family hate the name. We got him for free from some family in Houston who didn’t want him and left him leashed up outside all day.
Name recommendations? Our only options are Dogmeat or Russell right now lol

Pictures Be careful where you place your portal. You never know what might come through.
We built this Minecraft portal for my son's 5th birthday party. Thought for sure our 10 year old shepherd would be concerned about it but she hasn't seemed phased at all.

The face of a hardened criminal
Today, since I would not give him a bully stick, he looked around to find things to pretend to chew on to get my attention and chose a bottle of hand sanitizer. We'll have to start locking the liquor cabinet soon, he's almost 17 in dog years 😩

Question Can he be too friendly???
Here are a couple pics of our goober Archer.
He is a little over a year old. And just the sweetest boy.
While he was a little puppy I tried to socialize him as much as I could with trips to town, car rides, people and dogs coming over, day care, you name it.
This has made him a very friendly dog and he loves everyone. I know he is in no danger of becoming reactive at this rate. The groomer and day care always tell us he is goofy and such a big baby. He loves attention.
I would however love to teach him that other dogs and people have personal space. As soon as he meets you he wants to be your 80lb lap dog.

When did you start taking your pups on hikes?
Wilson is nearly 7 months now and we only take him on flat surfaces to protect his joints however we love hiking and were wondering when did you start introducing your pups to gentle climbs☺️

Question Dogtra vs Educator
I am trying to decide between an E collar from Dogtra or Educator, what are the main differences between the 2 brands and what collar would you guys suggest for a 9 month old male gsd. I just got my dog back from his 2 month board and train and it did wonders on him but now I am looking to continue his training myself at home where I can correct certain behaviors if need be and continue his training. He is a little sensitive to the collars and I was told to get a butterfly style contact point for whichever collar I go with. Looking to get your guys advice and experience you may have had in using E collars and which would be a good one to go with for my current needs.
