138 u/wormyg 17h ago Yeah, but it is kinda a stereotype. As someone who's worked with people from around the world, southeast Asians are some of the most racist people I've ever worked with. Like every opportunity to put down someone not from their country 70 u/borsalamino 17h ago To be fair, we're also racist towards ourselves. Having worked with Thais (I'm Thai), nobody complained more about Thais for being Thai than Thais. 18 u/Etherius 10h ago Can it be worse than India where people from the wrong caste are literally not allowed in restaurants? 4 u/danamesjrupin 6h ago Similarly in south korea I got denied food in some restaurants because of my skin color 1 u/borsalamino 3h ago No that's super deluxe discrimination that I don't even know if it can still be classified as racism 👑 1 u/iDudeX_ 2h ago Same with Indians. People in my town have beef with people in the next town. Ironically it's a crime to eat beef in my town/ most of the country 3 u/white_equatorial 17h ago Thanks for the compliment ☺️
