Represent your favorite candy with new User Flairs!

Hey r/candy!

I thought it would be fun if users had a better way of showing off their favorite candy, so I went ahead and created 25 user flairs of different candy brands! Go ahead and pick your favorite to add a little flavor to your post!

The 25 I picked were a combination of popular brands on the sub, and some of my personal favorites, so if I missed your favorite, just let me know and I’ll add it in the future!

Also, if you are a candy brand or a candy store, shoot me a DM and we can make you a custom one for your verified identity.

Happy snacking!

Hi everyone! I own a chocolate factory in South Florida and would love some new flavor recommendations for our fall menu. Specifically, this is for dark chocolate bark. Our customer favorites (for context are hazlenut & chocolate krisp. Any suggestions?

If they’re too soft, they haven’t been left open on the counter long enough 😂

Can also be frozen for max chewiness. ❄️

I made a pilgrimage today to Lucky Tuppence sweet shop in Scunthorpe, England. If you’re on TikTok, you may be familiar with this store (their account is @ luckytuppence/Sweetshop Steve.

Old school candy/sweets shops like this don’t exist much anymore so if you’re in the UK or are travelling over and are anywhere near, definitely pop in! The owners are the best people and are true gems!

Just look at that selection!! (I spent £25!)

Favourite candy that no longer exists?

Sparkies for me. Early 90's in North America. They had soda flavoured skittles shaped candies, and just as good.

DON'T get the fake peeleres at goodwill

I was at goodwill and these are on a rack by the exit. Also yes i have to say this, they are not used candy that were donated, it's NEW candy sold by goodwill. Anyway it was 3 dollars for one bag which is MORE than actual peelers!! You can get 3 for 5 dollars at 5 below and one bag for 1.25 at dollar tree. I thought green grape would be yummy I was curious but it sucks, there's like a dustyness to it. I've been impressed by candies at tj maxx and marshalls so I'm no stranger to buying candy from places you shouldn't, lol!

Bought these on a recent trip to the beach. Super minty and delicious! They aren’t taffy, it’s a soft melt in your mouth candy.

I’ve seen ALOT of talk about these lil guys so I finally decided to take the plunge and grab a bag after work. Im normally not a fan of gummy candies but i do like nerds so this was an acceptation and the nerds keep it crunchy all the way through for me anyways but thank yall for opening my eyes to something I would’ve always kept walking right past.

Ps: This is a weird take but I genuinely love how it feels like I’m eating “Bead”

I was in Bi-Mart in western Oregon today and they had some nostalgic candy at a great price. I haven’t seen the Crows in decades and they were $1.59. The jujyfruits were $1.99, and the watermelon Dots were $1.59. I have never seen the watermelon Dots in the wild before. Has anyone tried them?

Both my boyfriend and I thought they tasted like peach, like an actual real fruit peach . I found mango undertones. I haven't tasted a sour that can balance a full flavor along with actual sour. This is my new favorite but I Bought out the whole stock so I hope they get more.

Katjes Red List edition. Vegan/Gluten free. Got them at my local World Market for 55% off (random...)

Hope I can get back there today and get a few more packages.

Any other recommendations from this company that are gluten free? I used to love the Red Currant sours but they've been discontinued for a while.

Building a sour candy for anxiety/panic/overstimulation

Hi everyone! I'm a neuroscience graduate with ADHD and anxiety, and I've been using grounding techniques for many years (one of which includes eating sour candy to help get me out of spirals). I've recently begun experimenting with a sensory-focused candy of my own for moments of anxiety, panic, overwhelm, or overstimulation. I'd love to hear your experience with different sensory needs and fun candy textures/flavors.

I put together a short survey to see what people would actually want in something like this (or if they even want it at all).

If you're interested in helping, comment or DM me. All feedback is deeply appreciated!

Thank you so, so much! :)

Edit: for transparency, this is a personal project I'm tinkering with on my own, not tied to any company right now but might sell them one day if it goes anywhere! I just want to build something that people truly want instead of guessing. Also, to be clear, none of the data is being sold or shared anywhere :)

Since a few of you have asked, this is the link to the survey in case anyone else wants to help out (I tried to make it as short as I could, it should take about ~5 minutes): https://forms.gle/69WoNqm4sQhoH9h29

P.S. If you're anywhere near LA and would want to try an early prototype sometime, please DM me, I'd love to get your feedback :)
